AMEN Omahan is 100% correct. It happens often to many. Time to just write it off as a bad deal. Been there and done that.

Oh my, how common this tale in the hobby. Wildman, you're out $2700 and you call yourself a "dumbass." OK, if you think so. But would you believe that there are many, many men among us who have lost so much more. I'm talking even into the $100's of thousands? Beautiful women make men do stupid things; in fact, that's the whole business model of the strip club--titties and whiskey combined make Jack a very poor boy!
Look, give yourself some credit for caring about someone, ok? That's never wrong. Sometimes it's expensive, but not wrong. And give yourself some credit for quitting much earlier than most men do.

DAMN!! She pulled out all of the stops. The Sympathy card, The Stalker card, The "I'm Paying my way thru school card", The Threats to my family card, The Race card..... He stalked me out of state - over the phone. lol. When I finished college, I got stalked by a collection agency once. LMAO. Sallie Mae and Freddy Mac wanted their money too. Visa had the nerve to call my family. This story reminds me of a story involving the Duke Men's Lacrosse team. I'd bet that $2700 that she's already black-listed him. He helped her out over the summer, but she has no idea why she would owe him money. Hmmm. Here's how you avoid this situation:
Men: Pay per play. No loans, No advances, No Honey - No Money. No. No. No.
Ladies: Play per pay. Don't accept any help to make your life easier. Do it on your own. That way, there's no confusion.

We all know this goes on, but if wildmans story is honest, this is some sad shit. Cons go on all the time, but to also do this to a cripple is repugnant. Erin, you have no conscience whatsoever...it's pretty damn shameful. And as you said, "He's like the CIA of backpage" yet you come here to post for help knowing there was a risk of him finding it and replying. You let the cat out of the bag, stupid and careless to allow your dirty work come to light in such an open forum.
I agree with thorough, guys let this story be a classic example of never loaning, just pay per play is the way to go.
Again, I base my comments on if wildmans story is true and honest.

Wildman, can't say anything you haven't heard, or any advice you would want, just thanks for the post with your side of the story. I certainly believe you. It may help others new to the hobby and keep them from falling for the same trap. Women know how to push our buttons, and we fall for the same tricks over and over. Like JS42 said, "pay per play", and never expect anything other than a business relationship with a provider, newbies.

Ist off realize that any money you give a woman is never a loan, no matter what its called at the time. Escorts like strippers only love you while the money is on the table. You should have known that $1100.00 a month would not stop her from doing what she is doing, you cant get a decent apartment and pay utilities for that, that the was the amount she felt you would be comfortable paying and that highlights just how much of a scam artist she is. Its too bad these things happen, but guys remember this, your not so special, even if you thing you are, that a girl is going to pick you to be her "boo" above all the other men and the money.

Hey DD if you read the post by Wildman he states that he is the one who is handicap. I understand that this happens in the hobby but please remember that not everyone is the same and there are plenty of "good ones" that are out there.

Let's be careful about writing off Erin. At this point it's all he said she said.

The number one rule: No Honey, no money. Looks like the Erin 'stock' is taking a hit... Given that you ALWAYS follow rule number one, now is a GREAT time to buy. Don't think I am not sensitive to Wildman's situation (been there, done that), but just like any other business arrangement you live, you learn and then you move on. You can't ever think this hobby is anything but a business arrangement. Know what you are buying, know what value you place on it and invest if it is worth it. Never invest based on emotion. Although that is always what the seller wants you to do. This business or any other.

Song remains the same. Only the singer change. Don't know who's right or wrong. The truth is often in the middle. But I know who my money's on. All I can say is we always get what we pay for. Even if it's not what want. Good lessons are expensive either way the simpler we guys can keep it, the safer we are.

I KNEW this story sounded familiar! http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=132643
Actually there were thousands of these stories on ASPD. Anyone care to link the first 10 verses of this sad song from ECCIE?
Actually, I love reading this stuff It's cheaper than any comic book
In the words of Wildman (8-30-10 9:09AM): Prepayment = fail http://www.eccie.net/showthread.php?t=92081&page=2
Wait, wait, WTF! THE Wildman? Wildman you are great at giving advise, just follow your own!
GOD, I love this place! I love history too!
And for those who also want to ignore Wildman's advice, I suggest this great read on the Sugar Daddy - Sugar Baby relationship

Couldn't agree more with ya Mya. There are good ones and bad seeds in all walks of life. In this particular situation though (if wildmans story is true) light needs to be shed on such despicable behavior. Only worthwhile thing out of this is that SHE is the one who shed the light on it...karma has a way of biting one in the ass.

I missed that, thanks Mya, as for "good one's" being out there, I know this to be very true, there are many many classy women in this indistry who treat it as the fun business it is, give a good honest fun effort in return and who are a credit to who they are and what they do. I know this because I married one a long time ago, but as I caution many, yes I married a former provider, but this being successful is very rare. At no time during our romance did she every ask me for a "loan", help or anything else. While we may have met during and encounter, I never saw her as a customer again, we dated like regular people, and no she didn't give me any sex, in fact I didnt get any until our 3rd real date and i got the real sex not the escort sex and it was much better I may add. Heck she even paid for dinner a few times, I did not have to discuss her "quitting" the business, after about 3 months of us being together seriously she told me out of the blue, I am starting a new job (with the county) and I am no longer doing anything in the adult business world again, if you have to ask her to quit, its not going to work out. The point I am trying to make with my rambling is that really dating a provider should be no different than dating the girl behind the counter at Dillards, if money comes into it, if loans are asked for or if you have to pay anything to get any, (other than what all men pay, dinner and a movie lol) or if affection is only given after you pay for something, buy her something or loan her something, your being played and dump her and move on.
