A decade ago when the ads were Craiglists and not BP, reviewers would generally TOFTT and report rather than constantly ask questions on the boards. Maybe it's just that my memory is not so good at my age.

There also seem to be a lot more low cost ads than there used to be, a lot more.

I use BP as my "go to". If I can't find an ECCIE lady available, I"ll look at BP.

I wish ECCIE did a better job of letting us know who is available. Pretty much everyone on page on of BP will be available when I'm looking.

ECCIE usually has 2-3 "available this week" postings...

I'd prefer to only see ECCIE ladies. I just never know who is in town and available.

I'm not a schedule ahead kinda guy. Doesn't work for me usually.

So I go to BP out of necessity. And, as pointed out very well above, I have ZERO info about some BP - but all the info I need about ECCIE ladies. SO, when considering a BP - I usually ask

I use BP and I screen the same and I turn guys on to eccie all the time. There is a better way, but unfortunately the vast market of which, us girls market to, turn to BP. Everywhere you go, every city, everyone knows about craigslist, and backpage. Its not the best, safest way to advertise, but if you have verification standards in place, it should not matter. If it makes the phone ring whats the problem??

BP vs ECCIE...

Probably the issue is the "vs" part. It should be "vs"... it should be BP and/or ECCIE... pros and cons.

The problem with BP if you need to use it , is filtering through the guys who just don't know how to set up an appointment or know what you can and cannot say in an email or text.

For guys, they have to wade through so much to find the gem!

For ladies, it's having your ad stand out in the middle of a bunch of ads with funky letters and symbols and stuff! It's having your ad stand out in the middle of $60 offers...

I have not tried BP in years. I do well with ECCIE, TER and P411. But if I do one again... it will be simple, professional and one worded in such a way as to attract the more serious guy.

BP, to me, is harder work if you have been around for a while. Someone still tying to build a clientele, BP is another resource! Just use discretion and screen screen screen!!

I advertise on BP.
Everyone isnt an Eccie fan and depending on area some would say Eccie is trash.

At the end of the day, depending on where one is looking....

Nope it doesn't attract me or turn me away. What attracts me is the thought put into the ad and any photos that are used. Also I will do research to see if the advertiser is also posting on review sites or have a website of their own or have they been long time advertisers. If they are not having any other web presence that just Bp I most likely won't schedule with them.

IMO, unless i can see a verified lady with some reviews by someone i trust ... and the other stars line up (services, looks, cost, availability, etc.) i'm not going to bother with BP. it's way too dangerous in too many forms.

As for as the squiggly lines and such on the ads, it doesn't do anything for me. Also I agree 100% with rogerdodger.

In Houma there are very few escort ads on Backpage so there isn't much to wade through. I happened to look at New Orleans Backpage a little while ago just for shits and giggles and MAN!!!!! Where do you begin?!?! That's a Hell of a lot of ads. It's like a blur!

One thing I wonder about. Why do some ladies leave ECCIE but continue providing on Backpage? That seems odd. A well known provider that used to come to Houma fairly regularly, and had an ass-load of reviews on here, disabled her account on here but I noticed on Wednesday of last week she was in Houma advertising on Backpage using the same name she had on here. She used to be my "go-to" lady because I like familiarity and getting to know the girl somewhat and she was great. (Until that last time, but I think it was a one time thing.) Why would a provider cut off the closest thing online to a safe bet?
