Lol you can't even go through BP these days without hitting a wall of NBA providers. There are ways around that though... If you don't mind wasting your time, potentially, but calling anyway helps a lot.

Most of the time, I just want a good experience with someone i find attractive. Fortunately, I've found several women in my personal life to entertain my desires... If they don't want my business, I'll spend my money with someone who appreciates what i have to offer.

Respectfully, I think you should reread my post. Doing so may make you rethink your reply. Making decisions, forming opinions, & the like, based on the race of a person is racist. Look up the word if you don't believe me. All I simply said is own it. If I choose providers based on their race, I am doing a racist thing. At work, in public, I don't have the right to do this & I honestly believe it is wrong to do so. In my hobby life, I am fully within my discretion to do so & am above reproach. But I refuse to deny what I am doing. Because here, it does not matter. I have that right just as we all do here. I simply own it and suggested that we all do the same. I hope my stating my opinion in this way helps you to at least understand exactly what I said & meant. By no way am I implying that I am "right." But it is my view on the issue. You & everyone else has the right to view it otherwise. Enjoy :-)

The word racist has a negative meaning. Recently it has been used to justify riots and looting. I understand what you had posted but using the word racist instead of something like "preference" is a little strong. To get back to the thread I think racist is the intent of many of these ladies that post no AA.

That should be racist is NOT the intent of these ladies. Sorry about that.

Cool gonna rant now

I've come to accept that there are some providers who won't see me because I'm black based on preference.I've accepted this so much that I make them aware of my race upon initial contact. Does that bother me? Not really people like what they like, I would rather a provider have better chemistry with me than to just go through the motions in an appointment she isn't into. But as far as the blanket policy on no AA men based on security or management or what ever besides I feel that is just downright judgemental. Not all blacks are the same neither are all whites there are security risks of ALL races and ages provider and client alike. A blanket policy in any sense besides personal preference is just an excuse to be more lax when screening /soapbox ..I'm done

To be clear, people aren't using racism to justify rioting and looting... However, I'm certain the excuse is better than "my favorite sports team lost a match."

And if something is an act of racism it should be called that... Even if a more passive word would be preferred to the offending party.

The above two points, however, should be beyond the scope of this conversation of equal opportunity for hobbyists.

I'm tired of this topic too. Mainly because so many people don't respond to each other's points so much as take it as an opportunity to shout I/she can do whatever I/she wants with my money/body. For some it seems too hard, or unimportant, to empathize with the human on the other side of that policy. Surely we all can do what we want with our stuff, but is it too simple to say using race as a deciding factor is racist? Certainly it is racist for some to say that whites can't or shouldn't adopt black/non white kids just because they're white.

And, I have followed the riots of Baltimore and ferguson but missed the part where someone justified riots because of racism. I have indeed seen some ascribe those sentiments to others but once again we often fail to respond to the points that people actually make.

As far as the hobby is concerned, black guys just have to keep going through the back door( not that one!) and asking for service from ladies who are willing to take the time to make decisions based on their interactions with that individual. I'm just glad I came to the hobby so close to fifty. I may get to see some of you sexy honeys in my lifetime.

Well, here we are, back on the “No AA” discussion treadmill once again. This seems to occur about every couple of months for some odd reason whether we want it to or not.

I am reminded of a line from the movie, “Christmas Vacations” when Clark learned his bonus was a subscription to the jelly-of-the-month club. Cousin Eddie said, “Clark, that is the gift that keeps on giving the whole year," just like this topic.

Play/discuss on if you must, fellow fun seekers…

People who are not effected by a provider having an NBA policy often think of these posts as coming up more frequently than they actually do. Inversely, people who are impacted by a NBA policy think more providers have them than reality.

I performed a quantitative analysis on backpage using posts which have been added this Sunday alone. Out of 53 ads posted, 19 of them had such a policy. 36% does not make for a majority. Granted, this analysis didn't factor in things like fake ads, providers who only have a private NBA policy (as in waiting until you get to the door before declining seeing you), nor does it include personal preference--ya know, if I would actually consider calling that provider. These numbers would change a bit if you weed out fakes and the private NBA policy holders--however, I don't think it would bring it down to a 50-50 split.

Personal preference is the main determining factor. If a man changes his preferences on who he is interested in seeing, then the field is pretty open. However, if you're selective in who you see and, you have a "type" of lady you're interested in seeing, then you're going to run into the NBA wall far more often as the "type" of lady you're interested in seeing, may not be interested in seeing you.

This issue comes up so frequently for black hobbyists, in my opinion, because it mirrors an issue they face every day when dealing with rejection. The question of if the rejection they face in the world is due to the same standard as their peers or, if it is due to their skin. The only black men who complain about this on forums such as these only long to be accepted for the content of their character--and their wallet. However, it isn't likely to change a single thing.

I'm having a similar problem, in regards to being limited to finding a more variety of providers that would cater to AA clientele. I've just been lucky to meet the small few providers based on previous references that could verify me, and also stating what sites I utilized and display them and my handle as my signature.

Maybe we could have a rainbow policy sticky. Ladies that are willing to get it out of the way up front: I see people based on actual screening. Of course we could also have a whites only thread
