It makes sense if you consider what they actually did, not the spin version of it.
They did not JUST expose lies.
They did a mass document dump that contained lots of classified information.
A lot of that information is classified for very good reasons. We protect informant names and spy operations for a reason, you know. We also protect the infromation we have learned about our enemies' capabilities for a reason.
Neither of that two asshats bothered to cull through all the information they stole to sort out the bad information from the good information.
It's kind of like an ambulance driver that speed recklessly to get to the hospital. Yeah, it is great that he saved the life of the crash victim IN the ambulance, but what about the 5 people he ran over getting to the hospital?
