It's simple.
I'm an adult. My ancestors and their friends fought for my freedom to be able to make these decisions.
I decided that I wanted to have tattoos.
I started getting tattoos at 18. I am now 35. That's probably longer than any fad that you were a part of.
What else do you need to know?

Plenty of people get tattoos and regret them. Plenty of people get tattoos and do not regret them.

Why does it bother you so much? All you have to do is ask, "Before we meet can you please let me know if you have tattoos. Thank you." If you see a lady on the street with a tattoo, you can close your eyes and look the other way. If I knew your face behind your piss poor attitude and I ever saw you in public, I would look the other way.

We have to tolerate them. Many of the “depends on the tat” group stressed they had to be tasteful, discreet and not gangsta. Many questioned how you would look when you get older. Most guys are afraid to tell you how they feel about your tats because, oh well, you know what we really want and what lengths we will go to get it.
