Hippie Hollow can be intimidating for a lone woman, because of the high male to female ratio, but I never heard of any problems beyond gawkers and the occasional jerk trying to take photos. The group around the East bathroom (furthest from the parking lot) is mostly regulars who watch for each other, specially lone nudist women.

Sculptured Falls, in the Barton Creek Greenbelt, has a tradition of nude use, specially on the south side of the rocks. There are no warning signs, so clothed people are surprised to see skinny dippers there, but it's perfectly legal to be naked. It's also perfectly legal for them to gawk at you ...

Hamilton Pool is crowded and has no tradition of nude use. I dipped my skinnys there early one morning because the park had just opened and I knew I had the swimming hole to myself for a few minutes, but it's not a usable skinny dipping place.

Remember to take sunblock!

The high male to female ratio used to be because it was primarily a gay nudist place and most of the jerks taking pics were in boats on the lake (but with the low water level that shouldn't be as much of a problem). Back in the day there were few problems except for occasional hassles from the sheriffs for the occasional gay sex act. Haven't been in years so no idea if any of that is still true.

Wife and I were at HH about 2 weeks ago on a Friday. A few couples ( 4-5 maybe), no single women, maybe 10 single men. This was just before the first rest room where there is fairly easy access to the water. Did not see any rangers. On weekends the rangers are out in force watching for "lewd" activities. Over the years I have seen several guys taken out of the park.

Rangers are often at Hippie Hollow on weekends and on call always. They are looking for public sex or masturbation, minors smuggled in, public drunkenness, drunk driving in the parking lot, improper photography (the jerk taking nudie photos with the hidden camera), harassing of women and stuff like that. That stuff will get you expelled from the park or arrested. The regulars are concerned about any public sex because it gives the authorities an excuse to shut down the park and sell the land for condos. They know that once this nudist venue is lost, it will never be replaced.
