Cassel probably isn't the answer (holds the ball too long, marginal accuracy that goes to squat if he has to move at all) but I'd still much rather have him than Mark Sanchez (who the Jets took two slots after the Chiefs in last year's draft.)

Sanchez through 3 td's today, I would rather have that then winning with no td's, but I agree completely, Cassell is not the answer, could have saved 60 mil and started brody. Besides if Sanchez was the QB we would have that hot ass reporter hanging around

Sanchez had a great day today. In the longer term I still think he's Akili Smith 2.0. I doubt Brody would have held up to the pounding Cassel took last year--he's talented but his body betrays him. Cassel is what we have this year and therefore I hope he turns into Tom Brady 2.0 even though I have my doubts. If he doesn't show marked improvement this year we'll be looking for a new QB of the future in next year's draft.

And BTW, one of the talking heads commented that Dallas' player payroll is more than KC and Tampa Bay combined, but Dallas is 0-2 while KC & TB are a combined 4-0. Gotta love Jerry!

What you say it true, but we could have saved 60 mil and got the same results lol.

After watching last night's game What do you all think bout this week's game against the 49ers??

I would like to think we have a chance to win but 49ers Defense is really good. Our D is good and Alex smith made alot of bad throws and I know with Carr and Flowers back there we could have a pick or two. Im thinkin our D-Line can stop gore. Johnson esp. He has stepped up and is playing great. But If cassel doesnt get in gear then we will be in trouble we cant win with kicking field goals and the defense... The 49ers are gonna be mad and hungry for a win. I think if we have a full house at the game that will also help... If rivers couldnt get it done with our crowd there is no way smith will be able to handle it... Im hoping to go 3-0, The 9ers got beat bad against the seahawks but managed to stay in last nights game really good!!!

After the 49ers first game where they were blown out by the Seahawks, I thought we might have a decent chance. Then that game happened last night. I agree, Cassel has to play good, or at least a lot better than he has so far, to have a decent chance of winning. Even though we have two starting caliber RBs, we can't run the ball every play.

KC Defense stops SF Offense.
SF Defense stops KC Offense.
KC Special Teams > SF Special Teams.

Overall I would give a slight edge to the Chiefs, but it will ultimately come down to which team makes The Big Mistake.
