The subject of the thread is "The Ukraine". Seems every post on the thread is about Ukraine. One can not have a proper discussion about this subject without acknowledging why it is an issue to begin with
If you don't think it is relevant to the discussion about "The Ukraine" that:
Ukrainian Officials Watched Biden 'With Horror' and Said He Gave 'The Green Light to Putin' to invade Ukraine or that
Senile Biden like other political leaders will send the US to war because his popularity waned and he wants to boost his poll numbers or that
The German Chancellor refused to discuss the Ukraine issue with Biden
Well I can't help you. All those facts are very relevant to "the Ukraine" and help inform people on why not one American should spill any blood or die for a Ukraine disaster that Senile Biden has in large part created

Sadly, many of the countries we protect, don't have money to spend on defense. But I'm sure that there are gifts of access and other things that give us some sort of payback - so to speak. I however do think that if we come into a country to support you militarily, that there should be a direct repayment in some sort of way. I hate to think of the military as mercenaries, but if we don't accept payment, were infidels, and if we do, we are in collusion to get something. We either need to decide what part we play or stop playing.

Hey numb nuts! the title of the post is "the Ukraine"
The subject is... Should the USA and NATO, retaliate, if Russia invades the Ukraine?
and to what extent, if your answer is yes?
I had to point this out to you because you are too stupid to comprehend it.

You never cease to demonstrate what impotent thinkers are contemplating!
I thought the post was about Ukraine and our military. Perhaps you could at least pose your ruse to include something pithy or within the scope of the OP.
Don't you have some bullets to count or some other important civil war basement planning your late for?

So Senile Biden is abandoning Americans in a second country within the last 6 months. First Afghanistan and now Ukraine
From State Dept call: “Given that the President has said military action by Russia could come at any time. The US government will not be in a position to evacuate US citizens. So US citizens, currently present in Ukraine should plan accordingly.” Arrange commercial flights.
This as Senile Biden is considering deploying several thousand troops, as well as aircraft and warships, to NATO allies in the Baltics and Eastern Europe (NYT) all to prop up his falling poll numbers. Senile Biden is desperate to reverse his political fortunes and desperate people do desperate things. And he is going to get American troops killed and possibly ignite a world war. This moron needs stopped before one drop of American blood is shed over Ukraine

The Ukraine crisis has also exposed how the rest of the world is laughing at and ignoring Senile Biden.
The new German Chancellor refused to meet with Joe Biden to talk Ukraine.
And now they have cut him out of talks.
This is a crisis when American NATO allies tell us to fuck off because we have a dementia addled idiot in charge who wants to send troops to Ukraine and hope the war props up his falling poll numbers
Someone needs to invoke the 25th amendment before American blood is shed and Senile Biden starts a world war

Here’s a challenge: without restoring to partisan politics or stupid nicknames, tell us what YOU’D like to see? If you want us troops involved in an Eastern European conflict just say that. Either you’re a warmonger or you’re not.

Not sure how many times I have to say in a post not one drop of American blood should be shed in Ukraine for you to know what I think. I said it multiple times
But to expand on that, what I would want to see is a real President in charge, leading from strength like President Trump. Putin wouldn't have tried this with a real President in charge and our NATO allies would not have blown off President Trump like they have blown off dementia addled feeble Biden because there would have been consequences to doing so
And if you don't believe it would be different with President Trump or any real President in charge, just read this from Joe Biden’s former White House stenographer on how the first meeting between Biden and Putin went back in 2011
Ex-WH Stenographer Recalls Witnessing Putin Humiliate Biden In Past Meeting: ‘Left Biden Speechless’
https://www.dailywire.com/news/ex-wh...den-speechless
Hope that answers your question

While I’m no fan of Biden’s, to be fair there aren’t any good options for dealing with Russian aggression toward Ukraine. Economic and diplomatic sanctions are likely to be ineffective. Military options are likely to be very unpopular and would also likely be of limited effectiveness. Half of Ukraine’s population is supportive (at least to some degree) of the invaders. We have experience (Vietnam, Iraq, Afghanistan) with fighting a military action in a nation with either a majority or a large minority of the population supporting the enemy; it never seems to work very well, does it?
I would probably impose whatever economic and diplomatic sanctions I could, arm the Ukrainian forces as much as possible, and otherwise stay out of it if I were the President, all the while recognizing that this course of action likely won’t deter the Russian aggression.

CNN now reporting: Biden administration now in final stages of identifying specific military units to send to Eastern Europe to deter Russia. Next steps likely to be prep orders and then deployment orders once final decision several US officials tell CNN.
History is littered with politicians that decided to start dumb wars to distract from social/economic problems in their own backyards. The worse Senile Biden’s numbers get, the more likely he’ll send your kids to war to try and boost his poll numbers. Someone needs to stop him

Wait, you’re using the time Putin turn our off the microphones in 2011 as an example of Joe Biden being a weak president? This is embarrassing. Look, I probably like Joe Biden less than you do. I’m SURE your politics are closer to Biden’s than mine, because Biden is basically a Reagan-era conservative. You’ve just let partisan hysteria make you wacky.
The Biden administration is virtually indistinguishable from the Trump administration, on every meaningful policy. They’re both mentally unfit for the job and among the worst presidents of any of our lifetimes. It’s incredibly goofy to think one is great and the other sucks.

"Biden is basically a Reagen-era conservative"??
"The Biden administration is virtually indistinguishable
from the Trump administration on every meaningful policy"
... Off-hand I can think of about 30 that are different,
but you're free to believe what you wish there, mate.
