It would be a lot more boring if the ladies didn't post. Then all the threads would be gross exagerations about how many times we scored and how all of our penises were bigger than Toyota's.
Now I'm sure people are gonna wonder how I can compare penis size to automobiles... I'm sorry, I just can't stop.....

Looie, I'm gonna put that shoe on and converse wit' ya a bit.
See, I love talking to women. But I get no pleasure at all from listening to women say dumb things. Don't really enjoy it in men, for that matter.
When I first found my way to boards like this one, way back in Ought-3 , I thought women were treated terribly. They were, in my opinion, and I spoke out about it, occasionally against considerable resistance. I like women. I find them very interesting. I don't want them to think, or talk or interact like men, necessarily.
But, my friend, the level of discourse here leaves something to be desired, in my opinion. There are so many vapid threads that it gets discouraging. One would like to be able to come here and read something interesting or thought provoking, and maybe get in on some discussion about it.
There is a place in the world for all god's children, and that includes 19 year old girls with 8th grade educations who can't string three words together without fucking up their syntax. But I'm not sure that a discussion forum that relies on the written word is one of them. At least not as a place to hang out and start a lot of discussions (to use the word very loosely).
You seem like a nice guy, and respectable women whose opinions I appreciate have mentioned that you are a gentleman in person, as well. I'm a gentleman, too, so I appreciate that. But may I say that your lecturing (my word, not yours) on the subject can get to be tiresome. Though less vulgar, it's analogous to the guy who always mentions that he has a big dick -- it calls attention to you in a manner that easily makes others seem less gentlemanly or implies that you are urging others to imitate your good behavior. (Or something like that.) Be a gentleman. Treat others like a gentleman. Post like a gentleman. But don't define a gentleman as being like you or make too big a deal over the fact that your mamma raised you right. Just a thought. And I know I've seemed grumpy lately but I offer that sincerely.
While we're talking, I'd like to encourage you to be a bit more discriminating in the ladies for whose right to be heard you stick up. There are intelligent, articulate, experienced women here and young-bloods could learn a LOT by listening to them, or interacting sensibly.
Some female posters are utterly aghast when their self-focused thread is called into question, or their silly opinion is challenged. (You've seen them.) Should they be initiating threads in this forum, do you think?
I could say more about this, but won't unless someone wants to "discuss" it.
Someone said something derogatory about Dannie. I would always encourage gals like Dannie to post. And I'm not just saying that because I fucked her and liked it. She knows how to converse, share ideas, defend opinions. I don't even care if she says some silly shit sometimes she's an asset on a discussion board.

DANG, jfred...
..would you quit fucking using words like "vapid" and "converse" or "aghast" -
you might elevate the discussion to a level approaching late Middle School.- WTF's up with that?
Now, let's all get back to CONVERSATING on the topic at hand.....
none of that there hi-falootin' visitation.....
Hell, if there's A THERE there, even the child of god with little formal edumacation and syntax from a third world of the third world can show that there's a THOUGHT behind what they might say. We all know people who paid dearly in tuition in the school of life and they can have a LOT to contribute, but Wholly-freakin'-Moly, to ignore the blatant "LOOKIE-LOOKIE-HERE!!!" and refuse to make a reasonable judgement regarding content is just fatuous.
Sic 'em Dannie...yee-haaa!!!

Get back to me when your posts contribute something...anything....to the board. A review, maybe? Who knows. Just do something of value. This is an information exchange, and right now you are all take and no give, thereby making any opinions you may have, null and void.
|
Not that it matters in the least to anyone else.....but this is my winner as the post of the day. It brought some glee to my day and hopefully somewhat enlightened Shizz, assuming you can enlighten a troglodyte.
I wish there were more lady posters who exhibited Dannie's temerity. It would make things a lot more interesting in around here!

Looie - I saw that comment too, and it made me bristle a bit. I'm glad I'm not the only one.
Dannie - You're my hero.
jfred - Except for the parts directed at Looie, agreed on all counts. There seem to be a number of posters (both male and female examples come to mind) who don't seem capable of speaking, thinking, or writing in an intelligent (or at least coherent) manner. It strains the eyes and drains the brain trying to wade through the nonsense.

As a guy who enjoys the naked bodies of younger escorts, having to strain my brain a bit to understand what they mean or are attempting to say gives me time when not face to face (or her face to my penis) in which to learn to understand someone from a different age.
I'd hate to walk into a session with a hottie that is 20 years old and feel like I'm with someone speaking a different language and so reading and learning to understand does take effort but it is a good thing for guys like me who barely remember 20, let alone 30.
But DAMN 20 year old pussy tastes great and i need to get some tonight!

+1 with what Traci said. Plenty of guys on here also who aren't exactly great at expressing themselves with a coherent thought.
The whole point is that even though some folks do have problems with grammar ,spelling, etc. They "do" have the right to post.
In response to jfred are we to start giving IQ tests to those who join and they must pass before posting?
To be fair everyone is allowed to post. I agree sometimes I get a headache just trying to decypher what certain posters are trying to get across but if it bothers me too much I just skip over that thread.
As for me trying to lecture anyone or show that am a gentleman ,I don't feel that is what I am doing.
I post mostly out of fun but sometimes I try to post more thought provoking threads. I do post about common courtesy a bit but thats because I feel it can be very lacking on the boards at times.
I certainly am not trying to force anyone into my way of thinking.
I just post my thoughts as others do.
Right now I think I'm just going to shut up for a bit and go find some nice lady to spend some quality ,fun time with.

Everyone should be encouraged to speak up
I agree with Looie. This is co-ed. And all opinions shoud be welcome. Regardless of a person's age or education (you must be over 18 of course)
Too many guys on here have such an attitude of superiority. When in fact, we guys are the ones who are PAYING for SEX! I mean, seriously, how can you act superior when you have to pay to get laid?
Both sides need each other. We (guys) need the Ladies here, and vice versa. Everyone should be polite and respectful of other people's opinions. We can have disagreements but it should be civil. Come on. Enough with ganging up on the few Ladies who still post in co-ed.

Couldn't agree more. I find it particularly delightful, when some mean spirited, superior minded person posts their drivel on a public forum. Not that it matters to those people, but I choose my friends wisely and I am sure that most of the other ladies do as well. To the men who believe that we should be seen and not heard, if you don't like women or what we have to say, then I have to question why you are here.
If you want a hole......I am sure there are plenty of them around and probably at a cheaper price. The fine ladies of this board are not holes that need desperately to be filled. We are human and we have opinions and we are emotional. Last I heard, that is why we fit so well with the male species....that is what they desire..... soft, feminine, emotional creatures.

Next time I have to fight someone you be there ok? LOL
And as said here a few times I know the drivel and threADs drive us nuts but women should post and have no fear of any backlash. We are all equal here...

Were those the parts where I was calling him a gentleman?

I understand that lots of guys enjoy the interaction, some consider it foreplay. But there are other forums where that can be accomplished -- private messages, chat, Grandma's House (or whatever we call it here). This, being the discussion forum, might not be the place to flirt.

Now Looie, don't go inflating what I said. You and I both know that I've not suggested that anyone should be excluded. And if you'll give some thought to the possibility that what you feel you're doing and how it is perceived diverge, I'll consider the possibility of some things I don't like.

Is it asking too much that ladies who post (a) refrain from spurious threads that are only ads, and (2) Give some thought to what they intend to say, with the understanding that folks who disagree with them aren't bad people?
There are ladies I wish posted more, so I'm all for coed.

I know, Jules, that seems like the obvious solution. But I'm afraid that the result (when there is so much to cull through) is that people with good things to say just stop bothering with it.
I don't think recognizing that and advocating for it makes me guilty of acting superior. (Although I probably do, but a lot of that is an act.)
