I didn't agree AHC has lowered costs; I agreed that some hospitals have been successful at lowering costs (btw, you have not offered any proof that they lowered costs because of AHC);

Do you not understand that Department A expenses can decline by 0.001%, but if Department B expenses increase dramatically more (say 5%) then overall company expenses have gone up not down ?

And, asshole, INSURANCE PREMIUMS are not health care costs. The cost of providing care is what will come down when waste is eliminated and the health care delivery system (which is what is being reformed here, numbskull) becomes more efficient. When that happens, insurance costs will come down.

Now I guess if we can just stop making unwanted babies, the costs might even come down a bit more over time...
