There is a Bandana's in Springfield Mo as well. If it was good in St Louis, it has to be better in Springfield!!

When you get to Des Moines, there is a BBQ place across from that big Casino off I-80, it is really, really, good. It's called Jethro's. Man Vs Food was there a few years ago and their food is awesome, Always busy though!! JFYI

Bandana's is ok for a chain. Found some good BBQ in Branson on 76 close to Branson West. Little Mo's. Small place, eat outside. Uses a wood fired smoker.

If you are going to eat famous chicken, it is at Chicken Annie's or Chicken Mary's north of Pittsburg, KS. So good and so well known they were featured on the food wars program. I think that is the name of the show. they are a block apart, both started by ladies trying to feed their families back in the mining days of the area. Each has a slightly different taste, but both DELICIOUS.

Come get a hotel in Pittsburg, do incall there and I will help finance your trip!
