I would venture to say that one of the reasons is because the door acts as a security blanket of sorts. There has just got to be a considerable amount of apprehension in the provider who's shielded by the door. I mean thinck about it, they're opening that door to a complete stranger.

It takes some serious balls to do that ...

While hobbits have a fairly good idea about who/what she's about, providers aren't usually as fortunate. Pretty much all they have to go off of is your board presence and a couple of, "yup, he's cool" references from other providers. Other than zeros and ones on their interweb computer screen, they typically don't know squat about who's on the other side of that door.


By the same token, (and they probably won't admit this publicly...but they know I'm right...lol), I have no doubt that sometimes they wish they could keep that door in between themselves and their new suitor for the duration of the encounter...but since they can't, they just hold it there for as long as possible.

I personally like to stand partially behind the door because I enjoy the up close view of the expression on a gentlemans face when he gets a good look at me in a skin tight short dress (bossom in plain view) and sexy heels. . . Or maybe just a 2 piece lace set slightly covered by a open dangling sexy robe . . . So that when I approach you to greet you with a hug, you can already simply slide your hands in my robe and feel my warm soft skin.

Hi,

I hide behind the door for a couple of reasons:

1. I don't want to flash the neighbors since I always wear lingerie

2. So I don't forget to lock the door

3. A defense move just in case someone else is behind you when you enter

4. It's a great way to take control of the session~

p.s. Knocking louding on the door or windows is a big NO, NO, too, if you do that with me, I promise you will be out there banging all day!
