Be careful not to unduly conflate socio-economic issues affecting many black communites at large with rap music because I could easily make a case that Hollywood movies do the same thing but don't get the same adverse reaction as rappers or trappers. Fact is most rap or trap music is bought and supported by white people not blacks....drugs, violence, and misogyny were problems in America long long long before rap music came along....like anything else parents should better control what their kids are exposed to whether it be music, movies, or violent and demonic ass video games.

While it's true you can legit argue rap feeds what young black youth aspire to be always be mindful that many whites were killing and lynching folks and committing barbaric acts of terrorism in the form of the KKK all while listening to good ole boy country music. Rap had no influence. It reminds me of Chris Rock once saying: "I wonder what Hitler was listening to I wonder what was in his CD case?" Likely Hitler listened to Eastern Classical music accompanied by many fine pianos and stringed instruments..and yet he slaughtered millions.

I'm open to positive rap for youth and all but I don't prefer it for myself. I want some hard hitting ass shaking beats and lyrics. Especially when I'm in the strip club or getting amped for a party.... bring me my trap shit I want to hear ghetto ass war stories not some positive vibe shit. There is a time and place for positive vibes and I do recognize that as well.

I have mixed feelings on shit like that. Some of these guys may be sucking dick at the end of the night but I also think some be trynna be on some Dennis Rodman type attention grabbing shit. Doing anything more flamboyant for increased record sales because they know it's mainly the white people buying their shit anyway while blacks like me will just bootleg the shit. (e.g free internet download). It's like Floyd Mayweather going out of his way to continually make people dislike him even more so that they're then willing to pay him 300 million just to see him lose.
