Most of the Intel was from the U.S , and a lot of folks forgot, but only the British came to help us in Iraq, no other allies did in a more expansive role.


Not only that, Collin Powell himself said during the UN committee hearing about deploying to Iraq afterwards was one of his biggest regrets. He knew his hand got forced because the evidence provided was bad. There.were no WMDs, nor chemical agents. Hell, If I remember correctly, they allowed U.N inspectors to come and check it out and they did.

I'm sorry, but, I'll disagree with you on that because what the Iraq and Afghanistan wars did was create more terrorist cells and group. A whole two countries got completely destabilized, and a lot of people there were not for it. That caused so much resentment against the U.S which prompted so much more terrorist acts against not only the West, but the world in general.


Now the issue on the Southern border is nowhere near what we did in the Middle East, but it certainly a cause for concern as a humanitarian crisis. I'm not entirely sure it'll create as much terrorist than what we did in the past.

I am not saying we did not fuck up there. Throwing out Saddam opened the door for Al Queda in Iraq, which turned into ISIS once we left Iraq. That treaty to leave was signed by Dubya.
