Yeah, diddleman already mentioned that. Good to know so I don't go to the old spot the next time I visit Dallas and get a hankering for their burgers.

Beck's Prime at Forrest and Preston Road is a small chain based in Houston I believe and has very good burgers and steak sandwiches. Also the original Kincaids in Fort Worth on Camp Bowie is about as good as it gets for burgers and onion rings. At least it was some years ago when I was last there. I see there are other locations now and I can't vouch for the quality now. Like when Sonny Bryan's on Inwood branched out to other locations that couldn't match the quality of the original.

WELL......... YOU SAID DALLAS.... NOT ALL OF US ARE FROM DALLAS........

Therefore if you ever get a wild hair to venture over to Funky Town may I suggest you
try Kincaid's Grocery & Market established in 1946. Known today as Kincaid's Hamburgers. http://kincaidshamburgers.com/history.php

I didn't care for this place at all, sorry it just wasn't anything special for me, and kinda pricey.

I used to love Kincaid's, then though quality had fallen off with some of the new locations they had opened up. Went to the Arlington one recently, and fell back in like with it.

Central Arlington has become an interesting burger scene. If in the area, try Mr. B's, Fork in the Road (make sure to order Crackaroni in addition to your burger) or Chop House (unrelated to Dallas Chop House, and can be inconsistent in quality, but the best known of the bunch). I've also heard good things about Extreme, but haven't tried it yet.

Downtown FTW chop house is equally as good burgerwise as the Dallas one. I believe they are related.

Boots Burgers in Rockwall. Sold off the closed-in front porch of a residential home. No on-site eating; just get it to go.

Not a big fan of Hopdoddy, I do like their Truffle Fries. A Classic Cheese Burger should have an option for a quality Deli American Cheese. But I like other place's grinds better on some of the other burgers around town much better. There has been trend that compares Kraft American Singles which doesn't even read as cheese and Velveeta as American Cheese it is not. Land o lake's American Cheese or maybe Boar's Head American.

Lucher's Herky Burger is good
Angry Dog had good thin greasy burger
Neighborhood services
Good Friend
The Porch
Jakes
Kellers
I was surprised by the burger at Flying Fish.

Island Burger on Beltline and Preston or on Arapaho I like both but the others are not as good. The double Deluxe is great for the money.
