I haven't had much of a chance to get online for any amount of time. About 2 weeks ago I got sick and I thought it was sinus or allergy related. When the swelling around my lymph node got so bad that it was excruciating to talk...I went to the ER and how sent home with penicillin. 4 days later I went back into the ER and 2 hours later I was having emergency surgery. Turns out I had a absess 8cm large and had gotten bad enough to be penetratin my jaw bone. I'm now recovering from my second surgery and I found out yesterday that I will be out of the hobby for 6 to 8 weeks. Of course this comes around Christmas time. :/ I just wanted to let all of you know cause I know I've been getting a lot of texts and emails asking when I'll have free time.

P.s. I had my brother put together a PayPal account for me, and if you wanna donate to the Crystal Christmas fund send me a PM or text and I'll send you the PayPal address. Unfortunately I wasn't prepared for this long of an absence especially before Christmas and I'm hoping that I can get enough together for my kiddo and some inevitable bills. Thank ya'll!!

im sorry to hear that.. I had the same thing 5years ago DO NOT stop taking the meds even if they make u feel worse/ ur throat starts to feel better.. I had a weird reaction to the antibiotics and id stop taking them as soon as i felt better. Do NOT do that lol. They had to scapel me in the throat three different times.. Lol. followed by my tonsils out. (had to wait for it to heal, so they could cut around in there some more..
loads of terrible not-fun.
worst time of my entire life.
okay now back to the point.
dont slack on the meds.

OMG! !! You guys and gals are absolutely the best!!!! It's times like these that I look at the hobby and I absolutely don't know if I will ever retire lol!!! People ask me all the time how I got started in this world and what am I doing next in my life and my most frequent question/comment, "when are you going to retire? And when you do will you run away with me ?" From the very beginning of my hobby life I was absolutely blown away by how kind and sweet the people here can be. I've enjoyed my time here and im confident that the best is yet to come I'm recovering well and I hope to be back in action as soon as I'm physically able to Thank you thank you thank you all who have sent such kind words, sweet well wishes and all of your prayers. For those who have sent donations via PayPal or gift card I want you to know just how much your generosity means to me and how much stress you have taken off my shoulders. It's a debt that I fear I may never be able to repay as there is no more important feeling in this world as peace of mind and you all have blessed me with a optimistic mind during very pessimistic trials. I can't wait to get to visit with ya'll again in person and I cannot wait to put this whole ordeal behind me. I have a bumpy couple of weeks ahead that I'll share more about after its over but I no longer feel like I'm in this alone. P.S. One of the doctors asked if not being able to open my mouth all the way would impede me in my line of work....I simply stated "I cannot think of a bigger impediment on what I do"....He looked at me confused and asked what it is that I do ? Not wanting to reveal my secret other life I told him that I worked in customer service and customer satisfaction requires flexibility and a lot lip service. LOL
