Every single generation throughout history has complained that the younger generations are lazy, superficial, immoral, or just generally worse. Socrates complained 2,500 years ago that children didn't show respect, spent all their time gossiping, and refused to learn their lessons in school.

Kids don't learn cursive any more because it is a useless skill. It was designed to increase writing speed, especially when using a quill pen. Teaching kids cursive is the equivalent of teaching them to whittle a feather quill.

As pointed out above, we cannot focus only on quantity, but let me quantify the year-over-year snapshots.
There have been 132 ads & 62 weekend lineup ads posted from Dec 12 to present (roughly 30 days)...this site makes it possible to compare to prior postings. Last year (period Dec 12 '14- Jan 12 '15) 133 ads & 69 weekend lineup ads were posted.

I'm not completely satisfied with the KC 'scene' currently; one impact of the fewer active showcases previously referenced has been a lack of participation as newer providers have not yet risen up to replace the fun engaging threADs commonplace when I first joined. Sure some were silly. Better silly than trolling and intimidating.

The silence from the majority of the active showcases in the area is indicative of the attitude many have adopted - that participation leads to drama. The kinds of drama most providers want to avoid can result from being active on the boards, but the boards are better filled with participants than trolls.

problem being sa is not a board for providers so to say. all though that is what I would say 80% are doing on there! however eccie like other boards is a client/provider based board. the purpose of this forum is for that purpose of seeking providers.

it provides a place for hobbiests male & female to set up meetings. also its purpose is for providers to advertise their showcases. it is also a forum where hobbiests can submit reviews and like minded people can discuss hobby related topics. seeking arrangements is yes primarily provider based however it is a forum for sb sd type relationships. not a provider client forum.

KC has always been a very marginal city for the hobby but yes, seems to be getting even worse and it sure is hard to find skinny women too.

Well, it may or may not be worse than a few years ago, but it a hell of a lot BETTER than it was before the internet. I have been doing this for 20 years and God bless the internet and this site and its predecessors.

The difference for me is that I started out finding someone I liked and saw her each week every week. Since my finances have improved, I now see two different women each once a week. My relationships with these women have usually averaged 3 years but a couple have been for 8 and 10 years. Even when one of my women retired from everyone else, they continued to see me for some spare cash. I usually only lost someone when she got married (of course, one got divorced after a few months and came back before I found someone else).

The problem is all the guys who are constantly seeking out new women each time. If a typical provider could get five consistently weekly regulars, and another 5 that she sees once or twice a month, she wouldn't have to advertise or worry about LE or her rent etc. She would have enough regular income to stay in the business.

I cannot imagine what a pain in the ass it must be for a provider to deal with some of you guys for just a one time visit. Then a review and off to find someone else.

I am not saying there is anything wrong with this from a guy's perspective, but from the woman's perspective, that is probably why so many retire so early. It just isn't worth the hassle.

So, to conclude and coin a phrase, it is the best of times and the worst of times. It just depends on your perspective.

Its all a matter of perspective. In the COMO area, we would absolutely love to have KC's quantity and quality of providers!!!

I think kc girls are great, there's a few I love there attitude, and are not afraid to speak up for then selves or othr, although it seems some guys don't like that smh.
I know there's kc girls that are well loved by many of the gents here. There is kc girls that I know strive to do there best and try to please everyone. I think from all the city's ive been in kc has the best providers.

I know one provider pointed out ncns, last visit I had 2 ncns and 3 cancellations which one of them told me they were sick and then saw they did a review on someone else, which is all good and fine but lying is beyond childish. Gents are awesome in kc, one of my favorite city's def. But in order to have a working community you have to take care of the people in the community or it just doesn't work right and that's for the guy and the girls.

I don't think all the guys on this thread know how good we really have it here in Kansas City. I have travelled at lot lately and some cities can be really difficult to find provider companionship, quality or not. The combination of P411 and ECCIE is awesome and we are lucky that providers use both of those boards in our city. We have some really great providers in Kansas City, several of which I have visited multiple times and will continue to do so. There are also times that there are so many quality travelling providers in town at once that I can't see all the ones I would like to.

The only times I have had difficulty in Kansas City finding someone whose company I would enjoy has been on holiday weekends.

Does Kansas City have the number of native providers that Dallas, Houston, San Antonio or Austin have? No, but we have a hell of lot better selection than most cities I have visited.

FYI I've hired girls off ECCIE many times to fulfill my private life fantasy's, girls in Iowa, lots of tx girls, haven't gotten the pleasure of kc but yes I have a few girls that would be of interest. Answer you question pumpkin???

And I've had encounters with the providers here and they all been great.
