I like selfies, pro shots look really nice and great pics but the woman i show up to and see is not the same woman, in person she has blemishes that were photoshopped, in pics she was more tan than when I show up, jewelry and complete fantasy is disappointing. I have not shown up to see an escort that has pro photos and said she hotter than her pics, she is not, she is less appealing. I have shown up after seeing selfish and said she is hotter than her pics, no disappointment but added fun.

well said...My pics are all done with a cellphone..they may not be perfect or professional,but they all show me in a "realistic" light..I CAN afford it and I have had professional pics done before and found them to be "too made up looking"....As long as they are tasteful,it should be ok..

I agree. I'll take a selfie over pro pics any day. I've never seen a provider who look better than her professional / Photoshop pics. All a provider need to do is invest in some inexpensive studio lights if they are taking pics inside and a tripod if they don't have someone to take them. There is no need to waste money on Professional pics.

Selfies shouldn't be the norm on a board that fancies itself above the likes of BP. Selfie = BP. Same same, as far as I'm concerned. I keep seeing everybody talk about how we should STFOBP, yet the ads read like BP and the pics look like BP.

Girls come here from BP using the same pics from before. There's no step up, because there's a love affair with selfies.

Explain to me again how pics of less quality are 'better' than pics of better quality.

Now we have a 3rd issue. ECCIE = BP.

If the ads read like BP, and the pics are professional, would that be better? Wait... isn't that what BP does anyway? Fake professional pics with low quality text.

The difference between ECCIE & BP is that I can get info about the woman here. BP is just the ad, pics, & contact. Here I can ask around, read reviews and posts, read stickies that'll help me make the right decision, and see if she posts anything more than ads. I can learn about her before I decide. And if I decide to take the plunge w/o anything more than her ad, that's on me.

The quality issue is one of definition. Of course a professional shoot is better techinical quality than a cell pic. I think people who like selfies are saying that a selfie is usually taken spontaneously, catching the person in a "real" moment. Now selfies taken in the reflection of a bathroom mirror don't do much. But a selfie taken at Mt. Rushmore or out on the town, shows more of the personality. Those "real" moments are what some say make selfies better (IMO).

If the selfies were taken with a real camera, would that be better techical quality than a professional shoot using a cell? Probably, but definitely not better artistically. (I will give a caveat to Megan Love who shoots herself very professionally & artistically)

The ECCIE = BP issue is an interesting one, but I think selfies are more of a symptom, not a primary cause.

DR .... You're the exception that proves about any rule. I joined ECCIE 11/03/15. I didn't start "joining in" until late Nov. It didn't take too long to figure out that that you and a few are distinctly in charge of yourselves. As far as pics go, your mindset jumps out. And your posts confirm. You need to trade mark your ass.

I stand by my earlier point that hot women want to show off their hot bodies.

Not all that hot women look for ways to take 'strategic' selfies.

There's no irony at all in my stance. I'm just trying to keep the quality high on Eccie. Well, I'm trying to GET it there, because, selfies have become the norm. Sure, some of them are done well, but many of them are not.

In another thread, reviews are becoming an...inconvenience, too. On a REVIEW board, reviews are losing steam. Yeah.

Maybe I'm the only one with any foresight around here. I'm inclined to think that this board won't even be recognizable a year or so from now.

I agree. I will probably get pro pics at some point but I believe the selfie captures the true me.

This board is for advertising, was not really created for photographic advertising but they allow it. No one here gives a rat's ass about what another man's idea of quality is in women or how to advertise sex services. In business we all advertise some of those methods work better than others and each of us has to decide what method works best for each of us. This method appears to not be working so well for you. Move on to your next method. As stated, I prefer selfies some one else may prefer pro shots but does not seem to be the majority. Pro shots in this area disgust me. Just knowing how low each person has gone to do those shots is big turn off, but I am unusual here as I don't like swapping of services and don't ever do it even though I have been offered.
