It was a very sweet thought SYD, I like it when we can all "bring harmony and peace" back to the boards and pull together! Makes me wonder if that's what they mean by how it was in the old days?

ah..now i get the confusion

let me educate you young bucks..

in the "old days".. the girls were all on their games..not caught up in the drama and not making crap on the boards.. therefore there was never a reason to "join together" for fake reviews and OFF BOARD or other board crap.. i mean never did i see a post that said "girl A has bad review on e.com..lets go get it removed"..

no no.. when we pulled together in the old days..it was to host socials, it was to help a girl that might have just lost her home to a fire.. to provide some income to a girl that has been in the hospital and couldn't work..

we pulled together for girls that had their shit together and something bad and been dumped in their lap..

you see..the "old days' were filled with girls that "got it" and had their shit together 24/7.. the most excitement we had years back was maybe a weird stalker type (anyone remember that in texarkana area).. or who was gonna up the other girl in the area by fucking the same guy better than she fucked him.. all in a friendly way..

even when new girls came in.. traveling girls.. didn't matter..we pulled together and made sure those girls had a chance at success like we had in the area if they earned it and had their shit together..

so no.. no we did not pull together to get involved in some off board unrelated drama crap

perhaps that cleared up the sarcasm for ya

Thanks everyone, I hate to say it but the old days are long gone. Everything changes at some point, what we must learn to do is to adapt and not dwell on the past. I am trying to rise above the BS guys. The place to start I believe is to move on, ignore, offer the olive branch (which I have done) let the drama starters and the contributors (to the drama) do their thing and remember what we are all here for to make that $.

Some of us have a bond here on ECCIE because we stick up for one another when they are being wronged in any way. It's not WK'g it's called friendship, even in business it's ok to make friends. It actually makes things a little easier. Give it a try. There is no reason we have to be hard asses all the time. There is no escort rule book that states NO ONE IS ALLOWED TO BE FRIENDS. Maybe it's just the way I was raised, but when I make a friend I am loyal until the death of me. So sue me.

One day YOU may be in this situation and I would hope someone would offer to help you in the same way. Maybe you believe you can do it all on your on, maybe you can, maybe you don't need friends. I do. It's nice. And maybe you would never find yourself in this same situation, but trust me, if you have been in this business long at some point you WILL need some support. So say what you will. We have all changed, the game has changed, the world changes every day, YOU have changed.

Maybe the old days were better. I actually wish I had been there. But things have obviously changed for the worse. Nothing you can do to change that. It doesn't help when you jump on board to every post and try to degrade people because of where they came from, what they are going through. That actually makes you a part of the problem.

All Syd was trying to do was help someone out. Maybe it wasn't due to a house burning down. But in this modern age a slanderous ad on BP can be very devastating also. Just because it doesn't qualify as important in your book doesn't make it so.

Deanna the bp girls do stick together like you claim it was in the ole days. Sydney , Ali are perfect examples of that.

syd ali dreams if flaggging doesnt work email diretly to this abuse@backpage.com and put in the subject in "Urgent ! Violation of rules ! then whatever it is . it works faster then flagging like an hour or two.

Thanks, DeAnna for your accurate description of the "good ole days". And Ali, you're correct. The good ole days will not return as long as we have the drama coming from the BP crowd (not accusing anyone of belonging to any socio-economic strata, but look at the drama participants . . .
