Thank you everyone for the sweet birthday wishes!
I'm FORTY now.... 40!!!! I simply cannot believe I made it, so I keep repeating it over and over. Thank goodness I lived to see this fine age, there have been so many bumps in the road along the way that could have prevented me from getting here.
And to all you girls who think 40 is pretty damn old (like I used to).... it is older, and wiser, and you finally start to realize what a waste of time all those lousy relationships were, that life is precious (and fleeting!), and that your children really are a blessing to be enjoyed (during the times you don't want to kill them).
Anyway.... thank you to everyone for being a part of my life today. It's been a wonderful number, so far. I hope that every one of you makes it here.
