As the game has changed to a pass happy low-hitting pansy fest, I am happy to see the HOF limit diva WRs that haven't won anything to one per year.

Having 3 SB rings helps.

How does one explain that Marvin Harrison was on this same list of nominees , and his numbers kick ass over Reed's, but he didn't make it?.

Both Andre Reed and Marvin Harrison deserve to be in the HOF. The ballot this year does not imply that Reed is more deserving than Harrison. The voters most likely took into account that this is only Harrison's first year of eligibility and that he will get in sooner or later.

I agree Jack, although I don't agree with that philosophy of voting. Never have. His numbers won't be better in 3 years. Either one is a Hall of Famer or not.

One non-champion diva WR per year, maybe zero if a champion gets in. In all seriousness, I believe the voters would be correct to take into account that changes in the game make for a shitload of WRs whose numbers look good.

True on the game changing, but I would hardly call Harrison a diva. He handed the ball to the refs when he scored his 128 TDs, never said Boo, and didn't take plays off.

Reed and all the Bills from the glory years of the 90's, racked up their stats when the AFC was garbage. As proven by their 4 straight Super Bowl losses. Their first to a team, in the Giants, that had no business being there.
Never forget, Rob Johnson has a ring. LOL
And now, so does Marshawn Lynch. :-)

I agree on Harrison, classier than the group I associated him with. Unfortunately he's in that group and has to wait his turn. Which I'm fine with, I'd like it to take longer. Shit golf and music put twentysomethings in their halls.

If underperforming at the Super Bowls is a disqualifying factor for the HOF, then none of the Bills deserve to get in. I for one am appreciative of the extraordinary collection of top players during those amazing years and think that they have earned the recognition.
