I am sorry that holi is having such a difficult time here. We are all such a friendly, weird little family and she continues to get hostile and cop attitudes with many people.

You should have seen the PM that I got from her a few days ago! I thought about posting it and taking my points but decided to take the high road instead. It's not THAT big a deal.

Regarding the original post (and staying on topic), I'm sorry that you had this experience. I have GREAT clients of all shapes, sizes AND colors but I also know that there can be rude and crude folks of all walks as well. Refuse to see whoever you like...it's your business.

That's correct, she DOES have a right to choose who she sees...whether that's based on a false premise or not. The point for me isn't that she chooses not to see black guys. I'm not a black guy or a hobbyist, so its no skin of my nose. However, I do think its silly to attribute one a-hole's behavior to all men of his race. My last client was Caucasian and acted like a real tool during our date. I'm not cutting off the rest of his race over it, but then again...that's my choice. And I choose not to make inflammatory statements about "all" of anyone over something ONE person did. It's called intelligent sense.
