I can’t agree with slowing the process down. When the articles are forwarded to the Senate the trial should begin and every Senator has to go on public record where they stand. That’s what the Constitution requires and the population deserves.
There’s no reason he can’t have back to back impeachment’s, it’s not a court of law. It’s a court of public opinion. If the GOP allows the trump party to acquit the first round of articles, begin calling witnesses for perjury and obstruction of justice documented in Volume II of the Mueller report.
Let’s move along, come hell or high water.

Hell might definitely come if he wags the dog to distract us from the tail. Troops are already advancing.
How force buildups on both sides could increase chances of US-Iran armed conflict
Quote:
The tit-for-tat militarization between Iran and the U.S. is pushing the two combative foes closer to the brink of war highlighting a potential failure of the Trump administration’s stick approach to deterring Tehran’s malign behavior in the region.

Yep, your article definitely points out signs of coming conflict. There was something missing by the author, he didn’t mention our allies view.
I’m doubting allies want to trust the fat lying bastard after he abandoned the Kurds on the battlefield. We will likely have to go at it alone if it happens.

I think they will take the censure route.
I don't think the dems want their anti-trump narrative exploded in the senate nor tie up the campaign in an election year.
the senate trial will take place in February if we go by the Clinton impeachment timeline. that's 6 dem senators who have to stay in the senate instead of campaigning.

It should all depend on how quick and how long Mitch McConnell wants to dismiss all charges. I think it could start as early as next month.
I still wish it wouldn't move forward to the Senate. I wonder how that would work.

Oh my GOD! I love, love, love the reference! This one's for you kid.
Guess who the little, little man behind the big, big curtain and big, voice is?
You guessed it. He's not wearing any clothes! Because his hands are too little, little, little!
