More fiction from the stud. Trump may not have been convicted on either of these charges but he damn sure did them. They were not made up! As I keep saying if Mitch McConnell and the rest of the republican senate had done the right thing and convicted Trump after January 6th we wouldn’t have to worry about either Trump or Biden being candidates this time around. The only reason Biden is the candidate is because we’re all terrified of the idea that a criminal like Trump being reelected.

I’m terrified of Biden, if he’s re-elected AND Democrats control the House and the Senate. Without Sinema and Manchin, taxes and spending would go up, and our domestic oil and gas industry may be placed on the road to extinction. Still I can’t see myself voting for Trump. I wish the Republican Party had cut him out like the cancer that he is. Yes I wish McConnell and especially McCarthy had shown more backbone, along with the rest. Why people like Ted Cruz and Lindsey Graham would support him is beyond me. If someone claimed my father were involved in the assassination of JFK and my wife were an ugly whore he’d be a life long enemy. If Trump were out of the picture, Republicans would be in a much stronger position come November.

But it is what it is. I don’t subscribe to the belief that Republican politicians are inherently pro-Authoritarian, any more than Democrats, or that Trump would rule as an authoritarian. On the basis of the policies they support, I’d prefer Trump. In the unlikely event he wins, it won’t be the end of the world.

I believe that if Trump wins his administration would be filled with loyalists whose competency would be questionable at best. The administrative system would be gutted and a lot of institutional competence would be lost during the four years that he would be in office. Trump was a disaster the first time around and the only reason it wasn’t worse is the people in the administration that were able to contain the worst of his impulses.

Republicans could be an anchor on the democratic congress if they tried. It requires them to compromise on the lesser issues in exchange for the removal of the more socialist impulses in the left wing of the democratic party.

There is always a moderate majority in congress but the requirement to vote in lockstep hampers the ability to create actual moderate legislation.

This is true and I agree. Radical is sometimes better than moderate though. If Bernie Sanders and Rand Paul agree on a bill, it probably won't be moderate legislation. And it probably deserves to be passed. If Eccieuser and I were Congressmen, you could say the same about us. And we'd agree more often than you'd think. That will never happen of course because we're two posters on a hooker board. Meaning we're too honest to be politicians. (See how I deftly stayed on topic here -- politicians are liars and crooks!)

... Other election denyers and crooks from the Democrat party??

... Here's some - Back in 1960 - Hawaii Democrats SUBMITTED the
Alternate set of electors for John F. Kennedy - even though
Republican Richard Nixon had been declared the Winner.
The Gov had already Certified the Republican slate of electors.

... No one there was charged or prosecuted.

... Hmmm... Can ANY of you lads be MORE off-topic
than you are?? ... I surely DO wonder...

Again, if election security is truly the concern, both parties and members of the electorate would be advocating loudly and fiercely for best practice.

Hand counted, hand marked paper ballots with a secure and transparent chain of custody.

Also, no voter suppression. Give them two weeks three weeks whatever. I think there was something like 26 cases of fraud nationwide and in person voting and 24 of them were Republicans including a congressman at the time he later became Trump‘s chief of staff. Yeah.

Remove all ID mandates. That’s absurd. It’s far easier to acquire a fake ID then to match an unseen signature which is the previous security practice.

Mail in voting should be allowed if it is done with certain parameters. Currently it’s the lowest voting practice fraud we have. But the entire fraud is negligent. The only voter fraud that could end does occur with the machines. ESNS has switched multiple Senate seats over the decades. Check out Jennifer Cohn, bucks county news.
All of her colleagues seconds Jonathan Simons, Greg Palast. Irrefutable integrity and complete professionals. Jennifer is the worlds foremost authority on election security.

Until the software coding of Syd machines is open source, there could never be a true forensic examination of any election using such machines. Also they are quite expensive. Ditch them and go back to the most secure method possible also happens to be cheaper. Magnitudes less expensive.
