Nah... I'm not buying it. What "big busts" were these? Yes, there were some events that caused problems in other places because things got out of hand.... but that was stupid people doing crazy shit and publicizing it too much.

Our last local event consisted of about 15 people in a very crowded bar for a few hours. Pretty tame. It would have been a huge waste of time for anyone "investigating" anything. Anything they would want to learn about any of us could be done much more easily in other ways.

I really enjoyed the last M&G and hope we have many more. No one is going to convince me that they are not safe the way we do them.

Thank you! If that is the case then it is something that individuals do and not something that the board arranges! I guess that makes sense and now I understand what Chloe was talking about. But again it is nothing that the board establishes it is a private room set up by an local member?

Not here to bash or be bashed. Lynn and nikki are great ladies who know how to screen well and will have no problems. I have just seen such an influx of these publically announced meet and greets and was looking out for the communities safety.

Sorry many of you feel a need to be unecessarily rude to me, I wish you all well, I really don't want to get involved in your private drama and false rumors.

I'm in two by invite rooms. one does have some M&G planning. but not much. and so far the the only close one was in NYC. And all went by plane and cab.

Chloe may be thincking of the p fiasco in Houston a couple of years ago. Two incompetents arranged the screening/security. I believe having two experienced ladies screening would eliminate the errors Houston had. As long as you are not conducting business there should be no worries from LE.

aww, its all good, no worries, this site places alot more emphasis on banning male posters for misplaced humor or honest opinion than it ever will towards any provider naw matter how much a loose cannon, in theory or truth.truth always prevails in the end,its the getting there, not the destination that can really be the most valuable way in measuring the supporters and detracters and who fits into your own definition of "trust" ..probably no difrent than any workplace dynamic. I just figure its all a great way in figuring who your friends are, not that there really are or could be within this lifestyle....................

M&G's seem to be a great idea if they are simply that. There are some folks here that I'd like to have a beer with, both girls and some of the guys who post. If 'activities' were a part, yeah, then maybe the risk increases. But I'd bet that once in a while the ladies would like to have some fun and act up without it being 'work'. Of course, like all of the yuppy downtown networking gatherings, work connections are part of it. Hell, I'm not in a position to hobby like many here, but a beer and a laugh with real live adults would be fun.

Ive met people from the board out for a drink and out to lunch off the clock and I attended the last M&G.It was alot of fun and I believe everyone that attended had a great time as well.Me personally I dont see anything wrong with the social events as long as they are properly screened everything should be good.
