Utica is a rough town. Used to be one of those old factory citys you could raise a family. Not anymore. Say what you want about the backpage days, but I doubt either of them used Utica backpage or skip the games. And working the street in Utica and Syracuse is as dangerous as Buffalo. The majority were arrested for possession so what does that tell you?
