I got my first donation!! THANK YOU GUYS!!! I have already recieved a few e-mails from ladies, Its going to be so hard to choose, I want to help them all ...

I hope our space for meeting comes through, If NOT I might need help finding someone that has office space we can use, on Friday evenings or Saturday afternoons!! for about 2 hours!! Just to have a group meeting & dinner!! We will clean up very good!!

Guys alot of places do NOT allow men to help with this kind of program, But, I see nothing wrong with it!! We would have never made it this far with out you guys!!!

Also Guys/Gals, you can see when you go to the donation page, that the amount collected, is going up, and it will not be touched, until we are ready to help some ladies!! Please spread the word!!

Ladies please hang in there, as the funds come in, we will know just how many we can help the first month!! Ladies can help spread the word too, as this program, may help you, when you are ready to get out of the business!!!

I have had so many calls, This is a major problem, I did NOT even know how big this was, and this is just on eccie!!! It was breaking my heart to hear these girls, just so open, and NOT knowing how to make that change, even though they want to for so many reason's!! ITS terrible!! I have one lady that just caught my attention, She is in a Battered woman's shelter, Because she wanted to stop working, and her pimp, almost killed her, and she went from living in a highrise, and driving a new lexus , to nothing but a hospital bed,(he is in jail) she is only 24 years old.. , she just gave it all up,(even lost her child to cps & is woorking very hard to get him back) she has a job, and makes aprox. $1100 a month, she wants to leave the shelter, but they charge her to stay there, and she can NOT afford her deposit, for a new place, because of her credit, they want a double deposit, and she is only able to save a little money every week, the shelter, helped her get the job, but they also take over half her check!!! She does not know how to get out of this place!! and she needs to do this , to get her son back, I was in tears right along with her, see guys this is what our group meetings would be about, OUR real problems, where girls are truly honest and want out!!! with out donations I can NOT help make a change, If We can get together, and show these ladies that people do still care, and help is available, we can save some many women & children!! Ive been up most of the night, wondering how I can help her, she will have nothing, when she does get her place, So anyone with and decent furniture, Home items(dishes, towels,sheets , blankets ect...she needs it all) she is not picky, she is just happy to be free from, from this way of life.. Please let me know!! I am going to try to help her next week, I will keep anyone updated on her, if you just PM me!! Thanks!! She does have about $700 saved and she needs $500 more to move in to a 2 bed room 1 bath!! her rent will be $600 a month!! She should be able to manage this home for her and her son... a friend from ECCIE gave her my number THANK-YOU friend & u know who u are!~! She is a sweet heart!!

The site we use to take donations is called (wepay.com) as far as what shows up on the Credit Card statements, I have No clue, But it is a site built completely for many different kinds of donations, sick children, save the animals, cancer ect..... so I guess you could research it and you could also call them, and ask what shows up on their statements!!! But I'm sure its pretty discreet!!

There is a very well known organization in Dallas that does this. For whatever reason, this topic has "wrong" all over it.

I have asked you to write me and you haven't responded. If this sounds like I'm not very trusting, then you're correct.

The women who are sincere about trying to help others who wish to go in a different direction are always going to be leery of someone offering to "help" when in fact, there is no website and no credentials.

To go even further with this train of thought, you're retiring too. How coincidental.

I am a champion of doing whatever is necessary to help women go in the path that is best for them. If anyone is interested in getting out of this situation, I am more than willing to send them in the direction of counseling and non-profit organizations that are trained in this type of assistance.

Perhaps your heart is in the right place, I don't know. But the last thing that escorts need in this business is another person trying to scam for funds.

Of course, I am not actually suggesting that you're doing this. Your introduction to this, along with mass spamming of the board, is suspect.

If this is something that you sincerely wish to pursue, I would suggest setting up a simple wordpress blog with a mission statement and your plan of action on it.

This would give you, and quickly, a lot more credibility then just posting about it on a board. You could also list your board members, if indeed you have any, and try to go also with grants and other ways to accrue funds.

There is a book out that is good, "Grant Writing for Dummies". I used to use it as a reference for an old job of mine. There are also sex worker blogs that are VERY active in helping others also find other opportunities that may lack the education and just know how to do so. Those sites would be willing to be supportive to your cause if you're very serious about this.

In other words, there are ways to go about this and have less people question your motives.

Just a thought.

Thank-you so much for you ideas, I need all the help I can get, with this to get it going, I understand people will be leary, no matter what because there is so many scams!! But this is something I have always had a passion for, I have been through many hard times myself, so I know what it feels like to want to just walk away and never look back, But then you think, well where am I going to go and what am I going to do, If I just stop working!!! so then you right back to posting again ... ITS hard to leave but if you have someone to help you and know what your going through because you have been there yourself, you can relate, these programs I have attended, the ladies there, live in there big house drive nice cars, and do NOT even know the half of what we go through, just to live decent!! So I can NOT relate to them......... so how can they help me if they do not know where I've been!!! They will never understand, what its like to be a provider, just to have a place to live , food to eat they wont!!! It just drives me nuts ...when they say I understand...NO you dont!!! I want ladies to help with this as much as they can!!! anyone can help!!! It can not do anything but make it work!! The more input people give the better we will get at this together!!!

I am getting alot of ideas, and we(some people on the board don't want to be named) and I respect that!! We are working to put this together, and get things done the best way we can, to try to get this off the ground!! & Elizabeth Thanks for the BLOG idea, I am going to look into that, you can PM anytime you have something or a link to something that might help!!!
