I prefer it ahead of time handed to me in an envelope in a sweet card or left fanned out in plain sight for both of us. With my regulars it can be whenever. There have been times that it has literally been forgotten by both of us so they had to knock on my door again, call and come back, or bring it the next morning haha. One thing I did learn the hard way, through no fault of the Gents, if you give a gift card as a gift, part of the donation, or the full donation PLEASE give the Lady the receipt. Some cards need it for activation and through no fault of the Gents (sometimes a comp problem or a stupid cashier) the card can be a dud and without the receipt you are screwed.
There is an issue with a guy on a big site I use that has been giving out counterfeit money. I know a lot of big name traveling Ladies are starting to ask ahead of time to studying the donation and using pens to test (even though they don't always work on older bills) because this guy travels all over the country for work and has given out thousands and thousand and thousands in counterfeit money.

I wanted to mention....
I had an rendezvous with a local Buffalo favorite. I forgot to pay her. Totally my fault. I called her almost immeadiately after I realized it. I'm am sure she was just being gracious, but she also said she didn't notice either and it was also her fault. I promised her I would pay her. It took a few days for our schedules to line up, but I made sure I compensated her properly.
I felt SOOOOOO stupid! She is the bestest!

Hanna, your post reminded me that I made that embarrassing mistake with you one time. I only realized that the envelope was still in my back pocket when I was on the Thruway half-way back to Buffalo. You graciously forgave me and insisted that I waited until the next meeting some weeks later to make it up to you.

Awww Jack...and you were a gentleman to even offer to turn around. I knew your forgetfulness was an honest booboo.
This was a local gent and didn't have the long drive back home.

Donation before or during?
First I like to throw money on the bed and wrestle a girl over it... Otherwise it's tucked in my g-string babes, you've got to grab the cash while I perform stripper moves! It's strictly business

Someone mentioned above that trust is the central issue. Of course, as I see it. The best way to answer this question is to not answer it. Become a regular of your ATF and it won't be an issue. You can pay whenever you want--before or after.

It depends, it's all about trust. If I am seeing someone new I'll place it in obvious location where she sees it when I arrive. If it's someone I've seen many times I will likely place it on the counter/table before saying our goodbyes.
Again it is about trust and of course the instructions some ladies put on their websites.

Hanna
Hanna I just saw your post about being "had" I can't believe anyone would do that to you of all people. WTF You are one of the sweetest people I have ever met in the hobby. I'm glad you "outed" them with the ladys who gave them a reference. Also now I know your policy for preferring the donation up front, the only problem is your greeting at the door is so sexually aggressive and fun we have other things on our minds at that point. lol

Boatman, you nailed it! I blame Hanna for that one-time mistake I made. Now I ask her not to be all over me until I have a chance to take care of business.
