Maybe when you're up 3 games to 1 try not to lose three straight.
Maybe skillet hands Jack Clark catches Balboni's pop up instead of watching it hit the ground and the rally never starts.
Maybe Worrel pitches like a man instead of a scared little girl and it's a different game.
How about you throw Sunberg out at the plate or better yet just get Dane out before he singles?
And, with your Cy Young ace on the mound in game 7 maybe you could win instead of getting your cryin' asses blown back down I70?
Whiney St Louise fans are as pathetic as those Faider fans wearing the "It was a fumble" shirt.

So Clevland scores 32 runs in three games and now here comes Detroit with Verlander tomorrow. They're going to ass rape us without any lube.
And what makes it worse is that we have to listen to Rex Hudler while it happens.

I kinda like Rex lol. The guy is pretty funny to me and has given me a few new catch phrases.
"its like trying to get a peice of cheese past a hungry rat"
Brilliant!
Either way these pitching melt downs are legendary.

And as Cardinals fans, we've always conceded these points, further, we concede that they SHOULD have been able to influence the outcome of the series.
As baseball fans we have to also concede that the one thing that should never influence the game in favor of one team or another, the umpires, was what influenced game 6. There would be no controversy or argument from us Cardinal fans today if Orta had been out and we had gone on to lose, or if Orta was actually safe and the same outcome occurred. Just like what happened to Armando Galarraga in 2010...a travesty. I didn't know what instant replay was in 1985...I sure as hell knew what it was after that game 6 though.
Our 2012 series mirrored your 85 series...except the umpires didn't play a factor...and you don't hear Rangers fans complaining about us. We'd act just the same...

The Royals have a Triple A ball club????? They may have a legit college team. They "suck" "suck" "suck", and it's not their time. Although the Chiefs didn't do much better last season, I'll go to a Chiefs game any time. I'll never waste my money on the Royals.

I love it when people complain about ref and umps... like your team never benefitted from a bad call?

Nope, we have, just as every team has...however, not every team has benefitted from a call so bad, with so much impact, that it's on every "top ten worst calls in baseball history" list, and at the top of most of those lists...expect a little angst...

Royals have some interesting young position players...but we all knew pitching was going to be our biggest weakness...
Perhaps they will get some pitching, before the position players move on to bigger paychecks

Well I don't dispute it was a bad call but you never know what happens afterwards either way. You guys lost the series when the tarp ran over Coleman's leg. You were a totally different team after that.

If Sanchez is their idea of an upgrade then we are in trouble. Save for the Clevland series our pitching has been pretty good. Duffy was good last night and Chen tonight. The Royals are just going to have to pay for the top of the line pitchers because we don't have one on the team or in the minors. Of course it's hard to do much with a horse like Verlander out there.

Duffy and Chen are the only bright spots so far. The rest of these pitchers shouldn't even sniff a major league roster. Oh and Chen is a number 3 at best starter.

Bob, when you use Sanchez and Cleveland together in a post, all I can think about is Dirty and Steamer. IJS.

Old GF in Vegas used to be an escort. She had a client she saw three times a month for a steamer. 3K per.
