One primary fact we all need to keep in mind is that with regard to someone being gay, straight, trans, bi, etc their personal choices are protected by the very framework of our nation.

SB15 is good legislation that makes sense for Texas and could be used as a model for other states wanting to secure similar boundaries.

Trans is no different and I see bringing up children every time the word is used as part of the problem. The topic here is a bill proving guidelines for higher education students. If they choose to live as a trans person before age 18 it is a personal choice and nobody else's business. Getting surgery is another story and I do not support minors having procedures done including breast implants, butt lifts, etc. Fact is far more teenage girls have cosmetic surgery every year than adult women transition to men surgically.

We can pass legislation limited surgical procedures on minors to medically necessary, quality of life (deformity correction etc), and non permanent elective procedures. Texas just showed us that common sense to-the-point measures can be made to obtain some sensible resolutions to these issues. Beyond those a person's life choices are protected rights not subject to government oppression.

I don’t believe that to be true. The trans cult is a huge issue in the democrat party these days. Politicians pander to them 24/7. Just take a ride through Mt Lebanon, every other house has one of those goofy yard signs. Saying a majority, defined as 51%, is clearly an underselling.
