So I've been in a couple of groups that do this, civilian and hobby. Basically you have one guy who keeps a big mailing list and sends out notices when a girl says she's interested. The list is updated as new guys are added and if someone no shows they get dropped from the list. Amazing how many guys act all interested and then don't show. Coordinating a large number of schedules is difficult enough, then you add in the guys who are all talk. Eventually the list owner gets tired of all the work and stops arranging out of frustration.
