+1 For similar reasons, I will never try to schedule with someone who has a NCNS to their credit, whether they NCNS'd me in the past or it was reported here by someone else. I prebook and have a schedule set. Cancellations can allow a last minute plan B (depending on how much notice I have), but a NCNS generally means nothing happening that day. I will generally accept one cancellation from a provider, a second one will mean I never contact her again. Too many fish in the sea to tolerate nonsense.
I don't care what excuse is given for a cancellation or a NCNS. It's really none of my business what RW event got in the way, many times the excuse is BS anyway. RW does get in the way sometimes, that's why I can accept a cancellation. A NCNS is disrespectful, and therefore not tolerable. For this reason, I never NCNS a provider and only cancel with sufficient notice (in the years I've been hobbying, I only had to cancel twice and both times more than 24hrs notice was given).
