Depending on status, single or not, I take on big trip a year. It's usually Beach related. This year it's the Maldives.

To save money, look at the all inclusive packages; airfare, room meals and alcohol. The provider I'm taking this year is one of my regulars and we discussed payment upfront.

Next year I'm thinking the Philliphines.

Some bloody Sheila's want to charge up to $1500 a day others will work a special because it's a one time trip. Either way, your going to pay.

I have a question, where do they have rentals in Corpus Christi for 13k a month? I was not aware Corpus Christi was that upscale. I can lease a luxury rental in a high rise on 5th Ave. in Manhattan for 8k a month. Come on now, that must be a typo.13k a month?

I moved back to Texas from NYC, myself, a year ago- and likewise, do not understand what that has to do with being more experienced traveling and being paid for it or not.

New York City has a lot more people who are at the poverty/median income level than it has wealthy people, so how does an ability to buy luxury clothes and watches make you a true New Yorker when the majority of New Yorkers cannot afford those things?

As far as corpus, i am an ex military wife a decade ago was stationed in Corpus, im ready to leave nyc so spending a couple months here then moving to Austin, as i work for an IT Firm, you're right most ppl do live in poverty, i on the other hand have legit beat those stats... I do internet start ups, and have started many companies. Degree in computer engineering, i would have done finance but would have gotten bored in life.... So hope that clears up what you were looking for....
I have nice things, many rolex watches actually and very collectable art.
