You have book smarts and street smarts. Best to have a combo of the two.

I dream of either majoring in psychology or music. It's going to be a while until I can go back to college though.

I have my associates in middle school educated, am a few classes short of my bachelors in psychology. I'm once again switching it up, finishing with BS in business and then possibly moving on to a masters. I have a very specific dream, which as I've explored it and talked to others about has become more and more realistic. Good thing about the hobby, guys might not care about my brains while we're in bed but they've definitely given me info and pointed me in directions I otherwise wouldn't have ever known about. Which makes me a little more enthusiastic

There's nothing sexier than an beautiful educated woman. When I want to take somebody out to dinner and have a conversation, I definitely prefer the educated ones. And then other times, like the OP stated, I just need a hole to stick it in.

Off the top of my head I can think of three LCSW's and several nurses. One lady in NYC recently got an MBA in marketing (her website is fabulous). I know one lady who has a BA and MA from an Ivy League school. Just remembered another favorite who went to Atlanta for grad school in psychology.
I don't see providers because they are educated but on the whole they seem to be better company and skilled lovers because they enjoy it as an adjunct to their real lives.

Yes! The clients or even just guys on the boards who point you where you need to go are awesome! I just graduated with a BS in Mechanical Engineering. (I actually started college to be a HS math teacher, but when I saw how big my loans were getting, I switched).
Hobbying has helped pay for some of my schooling, but mostly to cover extra costs in my life. Like having teenagers!
I love how many guys have followed me and kept up with my challenges in classes and it's amazed me how many engineers come to see me. It makes it even more fun to talk about what my future might be like soon.

A lot of engineering jobs, at least those that I have looked at, require a security clearance. Are you not worried about that possibility?
Those of you in medical school and with engineering degrees, why do you hobby? Is it to help pay for your education? A good engineering degree pays for itself. Why not apply to internships and scholarships, and stuff like that? Or do you also do those things on top of your hobby business? What do you put on your resume for prior work experience? If all you did was hobby and go to school, how can you build a good resume after graduation?
So many questions.

I'm going to add to my earlier post.
I know of several that have a four yr degree and a few with advanced degrees.
The gals had goals (most college oriented) and that in itself, I think, added quite a bit to their professionalism, which I know I enjoyed.
Most quit when they achieved their goals. A few kept on as part-timers for a bit. I'm still seeing one. A couple others still do the Xmas/bday email thing.
Couple actually ended up as attorneys. Good handful were nurses. Couple as teachers.
One of the things they all had in common was that they were all adept at convo, on wide ranging topics, during intermission between rounds.

If you have kids (especially teenagers!!!) you always need more money lol. Some programs actually don't allow you to work or severely limit outside hours. The last year of a teaching degree you are essentially working as a full time teacher under the guidance of the real teacher. Other work might get you ahead in your program or look good on a resume but not pay for real life expenses.

Ok, I've got one for you that when I heard it, it was pretty good:
Wanna hear a joke about a broken pencil?
Never mind, it's pointless.
There's also a really good couple of jokes that Burnie Burns from Rooster Teeth did.
They even animated it:
https://youtu.be/H-fTHr3R2MA
Feel free to watch any of their animated adventures. They are a funny group of people, and they occasionally animate stories that they have said on podcasts.
