Madcow has cited Watergate numerous times on her show. Watergate happened before she was even born, so her analogies are usually way off the mark. Plus the biggest and most obvious analogy between Watergate and the Russian collusion sham is one she never acknowledges - both started with illegal attempts to WIRETAP the opposing party's Presidential campaign!!

In regards to Watergate I was in my early teens and politics wasn't on my radar then.
I learned later...from the Nixon tapes that he asked Haldeman "who was the asshole that did this?"(the break in)...he knew nothing about it before hand.
