You apparently need to go back to high school and take civics. Your post is wrong on so many levels, I don't know where to begin.

Harris County does NOT levy any tax for any hospitals. The Harris County Hospital District is a self-governing taxing entity. Its ability to levy taxes is determined by the State of Texas. (Which, btw, is controlled by the RWWs) The only thing they share is the first two words of their name. Hospital district, school district, utility district, etc., taxes are paid separately from County taxes.

Second, why in the heck are you whining about Medicaid? Our esteemed Governor MOFO the CLOWN declined any expansion of Medicaid. Medicare wasn't expanded beyond the people who already receive it.

You're drowning in the Kool Aid you're drinking Jackie.

Wise up.

PS -- TwoPups, you continue to dodge any substantive issue in favor of talking points. Even a blind man can see the writing on the wall... dipshit.

Medicaid and Medicare are different programs and are funded differently. Medicaid is for any family of 4 that makes less than $24,000 (if your state excepted the expanded Medicaid). The state of Alabama did not except the expanded state Medicaid and you must make less than $11,000 to qualify for their state Medicaid. The state of Texas did not accept the expanded Medicaid. I don't know what the minimum is for Texas. Both of these states will have uninsured people because THEY BOTH REFUSED the expanded Medicaid.

Medicaid is paid for by the Federal Income tax revenue. Medicare (health insurance for people 65 and over) is paid for by your FICA tax taken out on your pay check. You get the year to date total on your W2 statement (assuming you get paid that way). Some people just get a 1099 statement. Medicare was not expanded, in terms of who qualifies for it.

Any state that did not except the Expanded State Medicaid will probably have their county hospitals remain open to treat the uninsured.

As a Veteran, do I even come under the ACA, since as a Purple Heart recipient, I can get just about anything for free, although I have never even set foot on a Veterans facility for anything outside of my first VA loan to by my first house.
Again, the ACA will not get health insurance coverage for everybody in the states that DID NOT except the expanded State Medicaid.

The Congressional Budget Office is not a part of the administration. They are independent accountants who are politically neutral. These projections on the percentage of people covered by the ACA are from the CBO, not the administration.

Go take your meds and go back to sleep. You're an IDIOT.

Not save my business per say. Forcing competitors who chose not to offer a decent benefit package to their employs to now carry insurance is where it will help us.

I am not against the ACA. What I am against is those that get to opt out, and city, county, state, and federal beaurocracys that want to continue feeding at the taxpayer trough when the goal is to have everyone covered with affordable insurance.

In the end, The ACA has to be more than just another redistribution of wealth scheme.

Giving a subsidy, or just outright giving, to those who cannot afford the same level of health insurance at the expense of taxpayers who can would seem to fit the definition of "wealth redistribution".

Another brilliant statement from IBIdiot's hand puppet. Do you have an inkling what this thread is about?

Didn't think so.
