The fact is that by the Governments own statistics, 98 percent of all abortions performed in the USA are considered 'Convienience Abortions'.

I would think that an incident such as the OP discribed would be so remote in the US that it is in reality a non issue.

I would also hope that any Medical Profesional in the US that acted in such a manner would be arrested and charged with the appropriate crime, either manslaughter, or perhaps 2d degree murder.

I don't have much faith in the Republican party, but Laz is right. Except for a tiny minority, I don't think even Republicans would support what happened in this case.

Nope. Its the hell you portray to sell the Dem's "War on Women." Woman's life is in danger so its OK to get an abortion. That's fine with this Republican.

You mean the "tiny minority" that included during this election cycle at least two Senate candidates and the Vice Presidential nominee? Not to mention hundreds of state-level legislators.....
