OK . . .so then, lets all keep the discussion in the arena of ideas rather than on the grade school playground level of name calling.
I, for one, have a mother-in-law who has, over te years, identified and loudly announced all of my shortcomings, failings, and character flaws . . .so nothing that can be said here will offend me personally.
When I state a firmly held political point of view, just explain why I am wrong, not why I am not competent to eat oatmeal.

One other thing, the American Rescue Plan did boost GDP more than a little when those $1400 checks were being spent. But that $1.9 trillion didn't grow on trees. It got tacked onto the national debt.

That's what WTF would call a "sugar high".
Today we're in a recession. It will become official when the Q2 growth numbers are released showing two consecutive quarters of declining real output. BB is looking at the Atlanta Fed's GDPNow Q2 forecast.
Timing is everything. Welcome to Joe Biden's STAGFLATION NATION. Just in time for the midterms!

Anyone remember who used to sing this old jingle?

Yeah, we know what you mean!
It's particularly vexing when we try to have a normal, rational discussion dissecting the Joe Biden economic catastrophe (the one we are currently living through) and someone comes along and tries to blame everything on... Ronnie Reagan!
And yeah, it's disgusting to witness the "total hypocrisy" of those who whine about the national debt going up under President X after they said nothing while it exploded under President Y!

To answer the actual topic of this thread - the Magic 8-ball says “All of the above” (Do I get that like now, OSD?)
It’s like none of y’all can read!

Lies and distortions? In the ECCIE Political Forum? Say it ain't so!
Looks like CaptainMidnight, one of the forum's most annoying BS artists, also got banned! He's no longer here.
Actually, no. (Sorry about that!)
He just changed his name to Texas Contrarian and will keep on keepin' on.
