Just want to ask an off topic question. I am not knowledgeable to judge western music. Is her music really good that made her this popular or the looks?
She actually does have vocals...real vocals, not some flukey auto tune BS.

I'd disagree about Ariana being the lesser of the talents. She has a far superior tone and vocal range overall (she got her start on Broadway). What makes Miley stand out here is that she is an alto with a good voice... and there just aren't as many famous female altos in general. So when there is one with talent (Stevie, Pat Benatar, Amy Winehouse, Miley)... they are more notable. Plus-- science shows that men in general are more drawn to the lower tones of an alto.

Wasn’t unduly impressed with a Grande in the only other sing I revognised that she sang, though it wasn’t really dine in a style I cared for, so it may not be a fair example of her work or ability.

As always Grace impresses me.....imo Pat Benatar, Ann Wilson of Heart and Pink might be the best female rock vocalists of all time.
(Not to mention Pat's husband Neil is a great guitarist as well as Ann's sister Nancy)
