Sneak onto a swanky country club golf course in the middle of the night and have sex with me on one of the greens....I've been doing this every now and then since I was 16 with girlfriends and grew up on golf courses. If you're really brave we'll use the pool too, but the water is a little cold this time of year.

A weekend road trip through the Texas Hill Country on a motorcycle is spectacular, sailing on Lake Ray Hubbard is fun, a canoe trip on the Rio Grande is spiritual, drunken inner tubing on the Guadalupe River is cold and relaxing...You have to get away from the Big City lights to truly appreciate any State and Texas is no exception!!

Yeah, I think Whataburger pretty much laughed its ass off when it first heard In-N-Out was coming to DFW.

I've always been a big advocate for Mama's Pizza but there isn't one that's really close to Dallas....there's one in Arlington, one in Southlake and one in Mansfield...those are the closest to Dallas but it's not close.

Gloria's (latin cuisine) is pretty good. There's a few of them in Dallas. They've got some great mojitos.

Dallas aquarium is pretty cool but I'm sure there are better ones in Cali.

Schlitterbaun in New Braunfels can be a lot of fun if you have a friend to bring with you. The original river fed part is pretty unique. Tubing the river is also right in that area. You can also visit Buc-ee's and get a t-shirt that says you are "an original beaver" or "the most interesting beaver in the world"...

Lived in both, love both, both are equally amazing, just depends on what you like to do. Are you a city girl or country girl, do you like high class or low key, do you like action and adventure or chillaxin and people watching, do you like 5 star restaurants or mom in pop hole in the wall home cooking.....the list goes on and on. TX and Cali both have just about everything so you would need to narrow the field down.

Lived in both.... It's hard to get people to visit here. Not much to do.

Not impressed with the Mexican food - California has way better.

People have irrational emotional attachments to things that validate their worldview. Some people think we are the most free country around - but we aren't, for instance.

I am from Cali and moved here a year and a half ago. And I have to say, I'll take Texas over Cali any day. Tornadoes are better than earthquakes, lol. But I digress...in Adonis' vein, also see the Kimball Museum (as well as the Stockyards) in Fort Worth. They almost always have an impressive art exhibition.

I doubt that they're still laughing. There are still lines at every In and Out Burger, and Whataburger's cutting staff all over DFW. Whataburger took a serious hit when the two big premium burger chains came to DFW. And it's only good for the customer, who can now get a good burger at In and Out, or Five Guys, or grab an old favorite at Whataburger.

Texas doesn't actually have much Mexican food. Most of it is TexMex, which is only slightly related.
