Nobody mentioned The Big Bang Theory...king of nerd shows!!! Besides that I'm a big fan of Joss Whendon...Buffy the Vampire Slayer,Angel,Firefly. Both Battlestar Galactica shows are great. I remember Babylon 5 with fond memories...kinda reminded me of Star Trek Deep Space 9...big fan of all things Star Trek. Right now my ultimate nerd shows are the British shows Misfits and of course Doctor Who.
Of course I'm a gamer... Ps3 and Xbox....Black Ops 2 is great but I haven't had time to finish it. Me and my friend used to have game nights...everybody showed up with their tv's, xbox's and food. We gamed till the wee hours playing varies games...good times that I miss.

I love Big Bang Theory. Sheldon Cooper, Ph.D. is freaking awesome and should be considered the King of the Nerds. Of course, I have a mad crush on Penny. I have Time Warner Cable (unfortunately) with a HD TV so I get those channels that are in b/w normal channels. 12-2 (ME-TV) shows old episodes of Star Trek and Batman (with Adam West) all the time and I always watch those.

I was a gamer in college, not much anymore. We mainly stuck to the sports games though (Madden, NCAA Football etc). Hopefully that qualifies for my Nerd resume.

I'd agree with what Mokoa wrote. Firefly is great, so is Babylon 5 although some will disagree.

I'd also recommend the Venture Brothers and Archer. You can find the first two seasons of Archer on Netflix, it isn't safe for kids

I've played the Battlestar Galactica board game, it is fun because people are secretly a Cylon and trying to sabatoge the humans so you need to guess who is who, but you need about 5-6 people for it to be best and at least the first expansion, the 2nd is cool for the Cylon pursuit track, we never really did the rest.

I'm going to have to check out Firefly. And the Galactica game sounds AWESOME! I so need to get it!!

I love Monopoly too LOL. Chess is hard for me but I'm always up for the challenge.

Firefly is great, don't forget to check out the movie sequel, Serenity after you watch Firefly.

Also Battlestar Galactica: Blood & Chrome, a prequel to the series is due out on DVD Feb 19.

And Big Bang Theory is awesome.

I agree. Firefly is freaking awesome. The movie is also great. WTF was Fox thinking when they cancelled them?

The Venture Brothers and Archer are freaking hilarious.

I have The Prisioner series and some great movies like THX1138, Zardoz, A Clockwork Orange.

Would like to get my hands on the old Space 1999 series with Martin Landau and Barbara Bain.

I was a Dr. Who fan when I was a kid. I haven't been able to get into the last two doctors. Torchwood took me a bit to get into.

Farscape is pretty solid (in my opinion). All of the seasons are available on Netflix.

I liked Torchwood because it doesn't always have them pulling things out at the end and having such a happy ending. Sometimes bad things happen
