Trouble Getting Any Business Lately... Help!

Simple economics. Supply and demand. Right now with the NBA All Star game in town the supply is abundant and the demand is down.
In any business when this happens you have to do something different and better than your competition.
The prices in Houston have been gradually rising and the amout of providers is increasing as well. Makes for a tough sell when you are at the top end of the donations.

There are maybe 5 ladies in Houston that command that or more...they are the ones who don't post threAD's...go figure.

I know inflation has hit the hobby but it has not been that long ago that only the top notch providers charged 250 with really good ones at 200 and some less than that. IMHO 250 is an excellent price point for a tip notch provider for an hour of her ahem, time. I fully understand that there are those that are more than willing to pay more and that is their prerogative.

It is not just about supply and demand but the basic economy and the ability to have some discretionary cash for the hobby.

The best thing to do is glean the best you can from all of the advice. Fancy is spot on about marketing yourself. Best of luck to you.

As a side note, I will be spending some hobby cash today, just not sure where or with whom.

I think most are right here. It is a slow period right now, but not impossible. You really need to be more proactive in your marketing efforts and not relying solely on one or two places to bring clients. When your business picks up, be sure you are putting aside enough money to live on and cover your expenses for at least a month or two until things normalize again.

Fancy made a good point about having a website and marketing. That alone will give you more options for marketing, as some sites allow free advertising provided you link back to their site. There are also many other sites where you can advertise for a low rate and bring decent traffic.

You have to price for your market, and what I mean is there is a lot of competition in Houston at the $300 price point. The girls that already live there and the traveling girls all advertise at that price. Don't get me wrong you are a beautiful girl, but there are so many girls to choose from at that price that maybe you should come down a bit. This might generate some business. There are girls who wouldn't ask that much in Houston, but when they come down here they do and they get it because there isn't that much competition. However if you came down here and charged less you'd be a superstar. Never mix GPS(Golden Pussy Syndrome. When a woman thinks she is worth more than gold based on her looks or the mere fact that she has a vagina and therefore men should worship her and or spend money on her) with pricing.

Let me preface this by saying that I'm not trying to be whiny, just give a perspective. I'm not trying to suggest you change any of your pricing or client policies.

Rhiannon, I have browsed your profile many times, and read many of your reviews, and hope very much to get the opportunity to meet you someday, but two prime factors have limited this to date.

Things are starting to look a bit better, but all around money is tight. Frankly, some things take precedence over satifying my baser desires. Lately these pursuits have been strictly curtailed, but $300 for a guaranteed hour of pleasure with a lady like yourself beats dropping the same or more for the frustration of a evening at a strip club or 1-2 lackluster visits to an AMP.

# 2 Frankly, I'm still essentially a newbie. I haven't been in town all that long, and in deference to #1 & scheduling, and frankly nerves, I really haven't had the opportunity to cultivate any references. And as a newbie that's kind of daunting. Maybe I over think things, but there are newbie-friendly providers that actually interest me, i.e. Fancy, but the gentleman in me has been loathe to contact a provider with an apparent ulterior motive of getting a reference to eventually see someone else.

As budget concerns are lessening in the near future, I hope to do some exploration soon in the effort to gather those needed references, because the experience of meeting you is something of a goal for me. I'm sure I'm not the only guy on this board in a similar predicament, I just voice put the thoughts to voice. It doesn't really help your current situation, but hopefully once I can meet your criteria I'll be able to make some small contribution towards changing it.

Sorry to flog a dead horse , but 300 hr is a no go in my eyes . Most the providers I see have 250 , but that's not the reality of what I'm getting them for . 300 hr you have to have a specific talent that separates you from the rest , something like squirt like a fire hydrant , or PSE harder than any other . Economy sucks and I'm only hobbying 2 times a month . And 300 is a major deterrent to me .
