Gary Johnson would have been a great "outside the box" choice; that said, it was a long shot opinion, Romney made a great choice in Ryan................why is that so hard for you to understand ?

The Romney election team need to be overhauled immediately.

1. Get John Sununu of my TV screen immediately. Yeah, the guy is uber intelligent but he come across as bloated and mean. He alienates people.
2. The election is about switching minds and delivering people to the polls to vote for your candidate. The people who were going to vote antiObama didn't need a Ryan as a VP. The people who may vote for Romney might have done it with Rubio. Huge Missed Opportunity.
3. Stop letting the Democrats drive the Republican narrative. Turn on the MSM except Fox and they have Democratic Strategists saying what the Republicans and Romney are going to do unchallenged. Its ridiculous.
4. Start hanging Obama with his own words and broken promises He's made some very public blunders on video. Time to exploit them.

Judging from the response of the extreme left....

Excellent choice!

The problem with Obamacare is that it does not lower the cost of health care. It will allow healthcare costs to continue to increase and the cost will be hidden since taxes will pay for it. Eventually that will blow up when the ability to tax more to pay for it ceases.

Ryan and Romney have the ability to address these issues. Odumbo and Bozo don't have a clue how to manage anything.

Exclamation Plowing Uphill

It's not the Titanic now, you goofy old geezer!

But it can become the Titanic if the Republicans get their grimy paws back on the helm. God forbid!

. . . Right now, this country is more like a Bulldozer valiantly plowing uphill out of the economic hole that Bush left this country in with his idiotic tax cuts for the rich and invasions of countries that drained the treasury and blood of this country.

Yeah. Right. That's the ticket. Since Obama isn't doing anything substantively different than Bush, how's that bulldozer doing?

What color is the sky where you live. If you think using that bulldozer to keep digging the hole deeper is plowing up hill you are right only in the sense that he is taking the dirt out but soon that dirt is all going to fall back in the hole and bury us all. You cannot hide from the problem forever in spite of the BS Obama keeps putting out.

Both parties seem to think it's a contest now to see which side can destroy our remaining freedom the fastest.

I keep wondering when or if the general population will realize that Obama is Bush to the 3rd power. He did not change policies in spite of his rhetoric to the contrary.

Spending - more than Bush
Wars Iraq - Followed Bush agreement
Afghanistan - Tried surge but less effectively
Unfunded Mandates - Obamacare in spite of massive taxes will still cause deficits
Bailouts - Same or more than Bush
Gitmo - same

Where is the big difference?
Gays in the military. Good decision but not a big impact to anything.
Foreign Affairs - Apology tour made no difference. Relationships are no better.

If I was Romney I would agree with Obama about changing from failed past policies and tie Obama to those policies.

Let's just stick with "party" first. As long as we no longer have a free country, we can at least still party!

All i know is that when Chris Lee resigned his NY seat from one of the safest Republican districts in the country, Kathy Hochul (D) beat the republican candidate by running as much against Paul Ryan as she did against the local Republican candidate.

So good luck!
