Okay, paid twice in taxes what the "average AGI" was for 2008. Now that "average AGI" factors in people who paid nothing and those who had no income. Most of the latter had income, it was just in the form of a green warrant with an eagle on it. Unemployment doesn't count in this category because they are taxed on it. Which I do feel is wrong. "Sorry man, gotta let you go." <then kicks him in the balls> "Here's your unemployment check, remember to pay taxes on it." <then kicks him in the balls> "Sorry man, your unemployment ran out, maybe you can take your Masters in Computer Engineering and pave a road. If the city actually spend the money to pave the road." <kicks him in the balls> "Hey man, we've got a great job for you designing computer chips. It's in China and we'll pay you 20% of what you were making here. Yeah, you're underwater on your house and the pay check won't cover the payments but what the heck, it's a job." <kicks him in the balls> No wonder lots of Americans have blue balls.

Had what's called a TPCA (tax payer compliance audit). Just picked a return out of the blue. Actually, the pick a certain percent based on various parts of your return.

Spent 19 hours over three days going over three years of returns. Found an error that compounded things over the next two years. Got another $81 in refunds.

But they wont. Politicians after all don't spend 7+ figures to get elected to a 6 figure jobs. That's why I generally always vote against incumbents in every election.

I wonder what the unemployment rate would be if we pulled back jobs to the USA and let the border flow for both tech jobs and the jobs we think we're too good to do but need to be done. hmmm
