I agree. I know Israel wanted to attack Iran in the summer of 2008, but Bush didn't allow it for fear that Iran would cause trouble in Iraq.
Now that we are getting out of Iraq we have the forces available to go after Iran if Israel needs our help. Secondly, Obama is in trouble of not getting re-elected, so what better way to stay in office then start a war plus he's losing the Jewish vote. Helping Israel will get him those votes. And we'll also have the forces available to go into Mexico if needed. Helping end the violence in Mexico will get him Hispanic votes. Obama just sent Green Berets to Africa. Obama is making moves. He's going rogue. According to my contacts in the MOE, they told me that's the rumor. Iran is the cross-hairs of the US & Israel.

My understanding is that Netanyahu wants to attack and the Generals who opposed it have all been replaced. They are so far away though that any attack would serve little purpose other than to try to trigger US involvement. Osirk in 1981 was one target, one bomb, five planes. This will be larger and the Israelis will take losses, but only inflict little real damage.

The Joint Chiefs are opposed, as is CIA. If it comes about it will be because of non-professional idiots and political appointees like the clowns that got us into Afghanistan and Iraq.

The Israelis have had plenty of time to plan and practice for an attack.
They have simulated war games for an attack already.

According to Netanyahu, he thinks its difficult to attack Iran's nuclear reactors, but doable. Netanyahu also believes that it will be alot easier for the USA to do the attack than for Israel because the USA capabilities are greater than Israel.

And according to my contacts, Saudi Arabia has already given Israel the OK to use its air space for an attack on Iran because the USA is refusing to let it use Iraqi air space at this time.
None of the other Arab countries want Iran with nukes.

If Israel and the U.S. bomb Iranian nuclear reactors it's because all other options to prevent Iran from obtaining nuclear bombs have been exhausted. Israel planted a supremely effective virus (Stuxnet virus) which contained logic to sabotage Iran's nuclear fuel enrichment centrifuges. Israel has assassinated a number of Iran's nuclear Scientists in a further effort to slow Iran down. The U.S. and Europe have tried to put diplomatic pressure on Iran to halt production. Once all these and other options have been exhausted, a strike by Israel, the U.S. or a combination of the two seems probable and......necessary.

If it's necessary than the US should do it on its own and leave the Israelis out of it. Having the Israelis play such a role won't add anything but will play into the hands of our detractors. The reason why it's being done this way is to make a statement about Israeli/US alliance vs. the arabs, which is in Israel's interests but not our own.

No reason to kill the ambassador? Well, the Saudis and the Iranians are this far away put a pussy hair between thumb & index finger) from actually saying they're enemies. Iran is, for all intents, the center of the Shia sect while Saudi Arabia IS the center of the Sunnis. Consider that Muslims from around the world go to Mecca. Except Iranians, who have a very difficult time getting the "holy visa" required, which is essentially saying that you're a Muslim. Heck, Fairican (spelling?) has gone.

Is it a fraud? Look at the number of terrorist plots that centered around an FBI "co-conspirator". That's all I have to say.

Now the Obama boys have pulled totally away from this ridicuous fable given that every CIA officer free to speak has voiced their skepticism.

This government has gotten away with so many silly pretexts over the many years now of this conflict that people are finally starting to wake up a little.

Next time they'll have to cook something up that doesn't smell so bad from the very beginning.

I think its better for Israel to do the attack. Like I said, none of the other Arab countries want Iran with nukes. Israel will get condemned in the UN, but behind the scenes they'll get a high five.

So far the Israelis, South Africans, North Koreans, Pakistanis, Russians, Ukrainians, etc. all with atomic weapons have not used them.

I don't think the Iranians will use them either.

There is a nuclear balance of power that has existed since the US lost it's nuclear monopoly in 1949.

Iran is just like any other country in its foreign policy, contrary to propaganda to the contrary.

The Iranians have been superbly pragmatic in all their international dealings since the revolution in 1979.

Until internal politics in Israel caused them to stop dealing with Iran, the Iranians were doing covert government-to-government business with Israel as well as just about anyone else.

One strategic reason for Iran's atomic program is the fact that they're surrounded on all sides by adversaries, particularly the US.

Anyone in their position would do the same, and the arabs know that.

Sounds very Anti-American. The world is not concerned about the Iranians using the bomb, they are concerned about Iranians giving terrorist the bomb or at least sort of a dirty bomb. I know the USA has a plan in place to take over or secure the Pakistanis nuclear weapons if Islamic terrorist try to get their on hands them. I know Israel has done covert work with the Pakistanis. You are making it sound like the Iranians are the peacemakers and everyone else are war-mongers.

Yeah that's pretty much it.

The Iranians have been villified, lied about, distorted to no end. While this propaganda campaign has been in effect the US and it's allies have been surrounding them on all sides - in Iraq, Afghanistan, the "stans" to their north, and the fleets schlepping all around the Gulf.

Whenever the Iranians react to this by staging operations in Iraq and Afghanistan to counter these moves their actions are used in propaganda against them to portray them as offensive, when in fact they are clearly defensive and reactionary.

There are many problems and issues with the Iranian government.

However they are not to blame for the international conflict with them that's arisen, any more than they were to blame for the crisis that arose with them in 1953 that led to the joint British/US coup which ended their last democratic government there.

By the early 1950s they were solidly on the road to a secular democracy, but a staged crisis for geostrategic reasons caused them to lose it, and we've been living with the consequences since.

LMAO at the above! Yes, the Mullahs in Iran are all peace loving people who's greatest wishes are to live in peace and harmony with their neighbors and the rest of the world. They helped create, train, arm and fund terrorist organizations such as Hezbollah and Hamas for "defensive" purposes, not to spread terror. TAE, let's put your theory to the test. Travel to Iran, meet with the Mullahs and inform them that you're thinking of going "international" with your Escort Service. You'd like to provide Iran with the honor of being the first overseas country to open your new Escort Service in. Get back with us and let us know what the Mullah's reactions are. They're such reasonable and peace loving people, I'm sure they'll be excited about this new business venture that they can potentially profit from.

I like that DTorrchia. I find Mr. TAE postings entertaining myself. I think that if Mr. TAE would actually do something like that the Mullahs would cut off his dick pretty quickly.

I guess Mr. TAE did not see the videos of the all the Iranians being murdered on the streets by their own government while protesting. Peace lovers? I'm sure those videos were just fake propaganda videos created by the Israelis and the Americans in order to conspire against the peace loving Iranian leaders who have murdered Israelis and Americans. I'm guessing the Iranian Leader's, Mahmoud Ahmadinejad, threat to wipe Israel out of the face of the earth is also an Israeli and American conspiracy.

The Iranians plan to send their so-called Navy to the Gulf of Mexico and I'm sure Mr. TAE will be standing there waving the flag. Jumping for joy.
