Healthcare - Repeal and Replace was withing grasp and still being pushed until McCain reneged on his vote. Still Obamacare has been gutted from the standpoint of the the mandate and many other items.
USMCA - Also being help up by the Dems, but the foundation was set and pushed by Trump.
Trump has continued to push the agenda I support.
And as I've noted many a time before, my main support of Trump was in regards to shaping the judicial branch. He has done wonders there with the assistance of Mitch.

Let's be serious.
The Republican health care plan, which never even reached the Senate floor for a vote, was a major step backwards from Obamacare, flawed as Obamacare was. Yes, McCain would have voted against it, as would a few other other Republicans. My bet is that if there was an anonymous vote on the proposal several other Republicans would have failed to vote for it. Even with Trump shortening the sign-up period for Obamacare and removing advertising funding, nearly 8.5 million signed up.
The wall was going to be paid for by Mexico. Didn't happen. Very little new wall has been built and my guess is that there will be little to no funding in the next budget, assuming we get one. Trump will sign the budget whether or not there is wall funding in it because HIS shutdown cost him votes and he can't risk losing any more. Of course, he can again try to steal money from other funded projects.
The USMCA was held up in order to add significant changes to it. As of yet, no one can tell me what great benefits to the U.S. there are for the USMCA over NAFTA. Yes, the USMCA is better for the U.S. than NAFTA but not in any major way.
Yes, Trump has reshaped the judicial branch. Whether or not "he has done wonders" depends on which side of the aisle one sits.

SR and CT - you have valid points of criticism.
The wall - a nightmare boondoggle, IMHO - funds should be put toward improving the Border Patrol with manpower, equipment, and technology to secure our borders.
Healthcare - agreed - the republicans have decried the ACA - but brought forth nothing reasonable to include protections for persons with pre-existing condition. major failure. A streamlined, less bureaucratic bill to encourage insurance competition, with Medicare as a back-up - is lacking.
Immigration - is the province of Congress - and the DPST house has made it clear they want open borders, unlimited immigration, and a welfare state to pay for all the new DPST immigrants votes.
See - the Socialist state of Kalifornia. - they lead this DPST idiocy. While neither side has proposed good reforms - the DPST's are vocal about destroying America with open borders to All.
Government shutdown - blame on both sides - DPST political intransigence a lot to blame.
Budget deficits - both sides to blame for overspending us into bankruptcy.
USMCA - pelosi held this up in a shameless political act to try to smear Trump. Trying to force a social security act on mexico was unbelievably arrogant on pelosi's part.
President's from Day 1 have adjusted the funds for administration - not Congress option to micro-manage - although the DPST's think the Oversight Committees gives them the de facto power as contolling evey move of the Administration.
Lots of blame on both sides of the aisle to go around!
IMHO

We can bitch and moan about Trump all we want, but the alternatives remain worse at this point.

And IMHO, Trump has been far better than either Hillary or Sanders would have been since 2016 and moving forward whatever your thoughts on Trump are, he will still be better than any of the Dem alternatives on the plate so far.

yeah, and?
I voted for Trump under that belief, and I don't regret it. it could be true in 2020, too, I haven't decided or predicted just yet. but why not criticize areas where Trump needs improvement? so few are willing to admit the most minor of flaws.

Criticism above - includes Trump in his areas of responsibility!.
Still - a far better POTUS than H... - smug, entitled arrogant (OK - one can use the same words against Trump).
I am not a fan of his persona or communication skills. Still, i agree with far more of his political endeavors than anything the DPST nut cases wish to inflict on America.
i see nothing on the DPST slate to vote for over Trump.
Kind of a shame we as America cannot do any better in our choice of political leaders.
We pay our politicians to lie to us, and they do a damn good job of it. (non-partisan criticism aphorism)

LOL. That is a matter of opinion and will be decided at the polls next November. I for one will support the decision of the electoral college.

To get some people off the govt teet. I know "children" who have gotten a job, got their own health insurance and moved out of their parent's basement due to the booming economy. Yeah, I know some people have chronic, pre-existing conditions...sometimes it's just called laziness.
