The message was the same as it has always been with Obama.

We need more government, more government programs and more government spending. America is great because of government. The more government spends, the greater America becomes, and to do this we just have to raise taxes on the rich some more.

Raising taxes on the rich will be a drop in the ocean. No way, will it reduce the deficit nor will it solve any issues. Makes for a good election slogan. Because, the fact is more than 80% of Americans make less than $75000/yr and to them it sounds like it is the holy grail.

Yes ,fair enough , that people who make less than $45k per year should have a low tax rate. At the same time, people making more than $75k/yr, should not be expected to pay a ridiculously higher tax rate relative to others. What incentive will people have to work harder if you pay the govt all your hard working money.

In fact an article in USNews which arguably is a liberal publication - states the same.

Actually, Assup, what was wrong in Seedy's post? You did not elaborate (look it up). And anything he wants he will do by executive order if Congress doesn't bend over.

Oops, that's a phrase you won't have to look up, will you, Assup? After all, you are the . . .

DIPSHIT OF THE YEAR 2013

ASSUP!!!

It doesn't matter whose model it is.

You don't provide links.

What happened to personal responsibility?

Why do you blame your failings on others?

Yes. Let the Democrats vote on Obama's spending, budget, gun control, and all the unfavorable legislation the Democrats stand for but most Americans don't.

Obama presides by secrecy and fiat, his policies are always aligned against the prevailing American sentiment.
The economy of the USA in December 2012, was better than December 2008. Bush left the USA in the worst recession since 1929. Eight years of Bush and Cheney left the USA with an umemployment rate of 10 per cent, 25 million unemployed, 25 million no health insurance. The DJIA dropped to 6,000 points. Bush came into office with a surplus and left with a huge deficit. He lowered taxes for one percent and started two wars. There was no link to Al-quaida, no WMD's were found. The USA spent 20 billion a month for 8 years looking for these WMD's. Obama got the USA of the recession. The DJIA hit 14,000 points on monday, the S&P 500 is at an all time high. Unemployment is down to 7.7 percent. The American people do not want to go back to failing banks and failing markets, that is Obama beat Mitt by 4 million votes. The only thing Rubio proposes is to go back to the "Trickle Down Theory" which does not work. Eight years of Bush proved that. Obama made the right decisons to bailout GM,Chysler, Insurance giant AIG and the Banks(Chase, BOA,Wells Fargo, Citygroup) just to name a couple. The economy is much better now under Obama. Mitt,Rubio, Palin and Michelle Bachman have no answers, none. Case closed.

Obama's "nothing I am proposing tonight should cost a dime" statement is as phony as his other promises. Obama's speech was all about more spending, more government, more debt.

You're completely full of shit again. What can he do with executive order that Congress is required by the Constitution to pass? Raise taxes? Take away your guns? Get a blowjob in the Salina bus station? (We all know he doesn't need an executive order for that.)

It's your new boogieman, and another reason why you need to hunker down, bunker clown!
