The ROS is still private regardless of the forum. If the OP wants to reveal the details it is his choice to do so. Until that happens though all comments on it should be in private.

Anyway, ignoring that the hotel is a marginal hotel, I think my seven word sentence is a proper summary.

And to FiddleSticks; if it were me, I would have questioned her about the situation first rather than broadcasting what may very well be the nature of a seedy notel. You did say...

I banged Ashley, the one with the pmkn123 email address, in that place about 5 years ago. Shithole is an understatement.

Yes it is a crappy hotel and yes I waited to give my room number until I actually saw him personally...the last time I gave my room number before visualization I had a very angry wife at my hotel door with hotel staff and well that isn't about to happen again...we all have quirky little idiosyncrasies that make us who we are and that dictate how we conduct ourselves...as for me...I'm open to suggestions on how to maintain the integrity and the anonymity everyone is so rightfully expecting...let's say hypotheticaly you "best client ever" and I are texting back and forth we set up a date and you show up to my door just to find you werent speaking with me but my ex husband who drove 2 states away because he found out what I was doing and wanted to stop it and humiliate you in the process...in sure this would change your entire process of seeing ladies...it's a scary situation and one that must be adapted to...I apologise if it has made people leave think I'm unsafe or ditsy but if you want fun Brandi that would be so calm not nervous Brandi...I take great care in how I screen and I am very cautious about any appointment until the last visual confirmation...we all have our wierd habits...maybe I just have more than others I guess

I had a very angry wife at my hotel door
Good reason to be careful.
I am very cautious about any appointment until the last visual confirmation OK, very understandable; but, what does visual confirmation have to do with wanting to know where he parked his car.
That is where the strange stuff starts. I someone asks a guy to park in a specific place: it is the time to really be careful. Getting robbed, mugged, or setup is high on the suspect list. Asking him to park in a specific place is the same as telling him to forgo the appointment.
There are two points of view here, but the seedy hotel and specific instructions on where to park are two strikes out of three.

JR,
Lighten up.
Brandie's already acknowledged that it's a run down place.

I asked him to park closest to the stairs that went to my room...so he didn't have you walk around and draw extra attention...trying to make it look like he belongs there and isn't just popping by for a quick visit...but maybe I should quit doing that?!?! I thought discretion was key but JR is starting to make me think it doesn't matter to anyone...that's it's ok to walk through the parking lot of a shady hotel looking for an open door just to eventually walk through the front and past the lobby front desk...to me it seems easier to park by the door that has been propped open get out walk up the stairs and to the room

The hobby needs to be safe for everyone to function properly and be enjoyed by all. Thus. Everyone has their safety measures in place - and rightfully so! Each should respect everyone's right to hobby safe and said measures. And then make the best decisions they can to hobby safely and have fun.
Many many many folks have pulled the rip cord numerous times and respectfully declined an appointment as they drove to a place that felt unsafe going on a date. And many many many have had numerous requests for a date denied because they didn't have a good gut feeling about the date or references failed to check out in time. The list goes on.
Respectfully, we all should appreciate where the others (both sides) are coming from if their 411 is truthful. These boards are designed to share information that people feel are necessary to help others hobby safe. And for the most part it functions well in that area (again, truth be told). This is not the first thread of its kind by any stretch, nor will it be the last.
And my selfish unavoidable plea because I love this hobby: Just be smart out there so the gig keeps on keepin' on

Please don't think JR speaks for all of us...
The key to it all is good communication. If you know your place is a little sketch, tell your guys that it is but you're watching out for them. Over communication on what you can so people can understand what you can't say.

I wish i would have kept the texts between me and her, but the facts are simple.
#1 She would never answer my phone calls.
#2 She refused to give me her room number even though she knows me, and knew i wasn't a threat. And her excuse about an angry wife could have been quickly dismissed if she had answered the phone calls.
#3 A low life looking gutter rat was sitting in the exact spot that she wanted me to park at, and he then went inside RIGHT AFTER she texted me and said she wasn't going to see me because i refused to park where she told me to park.

I think you should post the ROS if you are going to call her out on this as it would let us see your side of the story. I'm calling foul until you post your ROS so that people without PA can see your side of the story because it takes a lot of proof to show that an attempted robbery was brought about by a conspiracy between a provider and another when you are at this type of hotel. I would think it would be just as easy to assume that low life individuals hang out at this type of place because of seedy activity. Further, how would you know if this person was affiliated with her by his entering the motel if she refused to give you the room number? Does she know every person in that hotel? That's the one that makes my head scratch, along with the notion that I would linger at the scene where I thought I was going to be robbed. Post that ROS. . . Until then, it looks like your story has some holes that I find to be unusual.
I would say to Brandi that she should get a better incall.
I would also tell JR to shut up with his stupid and prolonged posts which amount to nothing more than drivel .

Hey Carpenter,
I don't see the run down hotel as the problem: you focus on that because you are in hotel security. I don't care. The point is to get past the hotel and discuss communication which is hard when all the parties involved are Ditzy [dit-see]
adjective, ditsier, ditsiest. Slang.
flighty and easily confused; mildly or harmlessly eccentric. How many people do we know that are ditzy?
