I my opinion a very out dated idea , I like the time now about 630/630 sunlight ( also less energy ) then staying hot long buts that another issue)

But don't forget ,,,

States have the ability to opt in or opt out to the time change follies, and several stay on the same time scheme year around.
There is legislation under considerate in Austin at the moment that would result in Texas sticking to one scheme or the other all year. My vote would be to stay on Daylight Savings Time.

I don't like the getting dark early in the late afternoon - it seems to make the rush hour drive home longer and more tedious.

I woke up about 7 am new time, checked my email and checked the internet, looked in the fridge and said I will fix myself some eggs and bacon.

But decided to lie down on the sofa in front of the TV first and I fell asleep again until 10 am.

Usually once I am up, I am up regardless of the time of the morning even if it's still 4 am.

Just that ONE hour change screws up your internal body clock.

From what I read, states can opt in or out, however they cannot make the choice to remain on daylight savings time year round, only to stay on standard time year round. One state in the NE is considering changing their time zone to Atlantic, and then opt out of daylight savings to circumvent this. I personally like the daylight savings time schedule because I wake up too damn early. But honestly I wish they would just leave it one way or another because it's too hard for my internal clock to adjust to it changing.

This Daylight Savings still kicking my butt.

Every Day since Sunday, I go to sleep around midnight, wake up about 6 or 7 am: 6-7 hours sleep average each of those nights.

But by 11 am I'm ready for a nap and have taken a nap every day this week right after lunch.

I had the same thought yesterday.

Instead of 1 hour Spring forward and 1 hour Fall back, why not just meet halfway and have 30 minutes Spring forward and 30 minutes Fall back.

That will be easier on everyone's natural internal body clock.

Yeah, but there would still remain the hassle of resetting all the fucking clocks twice a year.

There's no reason for it to still be daylight at 9 the fuck PM!!

End this bullshit with daylight SAVING.

You can't freaking save time anyway. What, are we adjusting the rotation speed of the Earth, because that'd be the actual ONLY way to do it.

Then you will be 30 minutes late going anywhere.

This is still kicking my butt.

I went to sleep at midnight.

Woke up once at 4 am to drink some water.

Went back to sleep, woke up at 7:30.

Now 2 hours later I am already yawning and will most likely be taking a nap sometimes between now and noon or if I can hold out longer, go grab some lunch at 11 am and then come back and take a nap.
