Like Sony and Sanyo ? I once heard that some companies have different brand names for the same products because to cater to the people that don`t like the original brand. So they cover more. But i hardly think that is the reason escorts do it. Maybe they just forgot to dump one homepage.

I don't have tattoos or piercings (Classic ear only). I don't want them on my body. I think my body is beautiful the way it is and the last thing I want to do is have someone draw on it with an ink pen. I also don't think they look great on everyone to be honest.
It wasn't until I saw Valerie and Nina's photos that I grew fond of them . I am guessing that tattoos are easy to disguise for photos. Mac Cosmetics have the body foundation and of course there is always photoshop, corel or pixlr.

In fact I know a number of ladies here that have had this unfortunate experience and have dealt with it through name changes.
2. Lets call the Serial name changer where a lady for whatever reason is up to the 10 names wayward described. One or two could be stalkers, but maybe there is some running away from bad reviews or shabby business practices thrown in there two.
3. As Nina noted, your name is your Brand and some ladies operate multiple brands for various reasons (e.g., a low price, an HDH, etc.) Are these even name changes, since they exist in the market at the same time?
Can anyone think of another situation?

Just to be clear, this inquiry into to values that PJ was nice enough to write bullet points for was meant to focus on number 2. What really spurred starting this thread was when the reasons were more nefarious. Hiding from poor service, bad reviews, board meltdowns, maybe even rumors of worse transgressions and all the things we aren't allowed to talk about because of board guidelines.
I knew a lady on the leftist coast that had some of the very highest rates on the planet she also had a more main stream persona, that made perfect sense to me and worked really well for her. That also isn't really want I wanted to focus on, but most of the folks that post in this forum amuse me more often than not which ever way the topic turns is fine with me.
The discourse so far has been fascinating, the next twists and turns probably more so. Please carry on as though you have free will and beautiful minds.
Just let me postulate this, what if someone had outed a client? It could be a relationship that had strayed from the purely professional or done with malice and premeditation what would you think about someone that changed personas in that circumstance?

Tramp stamps are the worst.
I'll keep staring at Val and Nina's tats.
I'm too chicken to ever get one anyway.

Yea that makes absolutely no sense to me....I don't have multiple websites or more than one name I go by (well here in the states at least)....I'm not sure why anyone would do that either?

Interesting Wayward... quite the lead in. So to further expand on that train of thought, here are some things to consider.
All of this is hypothetical so bear that in mind when reading the following.
For the puzzlement of all:
What about those providers that not only threaten a hobbyist with physical violence but also with outing to their family, threats to their ex’s(if they have an ex), children (if they have children) and what not? In addition, those same hookers (calling them a provider is an insult to the lovely ladies that are good providers) can also be so obsessed that they continue their bad behavior for years and stalk the hobbyist and his family while claiming the hobbyist is/was doing that to them.
In those situations, reinventing yourself in this day and time could be a real challenge, particularly if the hobbyist was outed. Now, I realize that what I wrote above is out of the norm but for arguements sake, let's just say it has happened and that it will happen in the future. So with the stage being set, here is the dance that I pose: 1. What about the guy who gets tangled up in Ivy with a bad hooker who cannot let go of the past? Is it worth his time to reinvent himself since there are certain things, like Olivia noted, that make it very difficult to change which are inherent to every individual?
2. What should be done about the hooker, should she disappear due to retirement or incarceration then come back, if she discovers the object of her obsession is back in the hobby world?
3. What would the providers here think of that hobbyist if they were to hear of what had happened to him? Would they run since the potential for an obsessed hooker who thinks he is an object she wants to pursue, i.e. extreme drama? Or would they give him the benefit of doubt until they had met him face to face and possibly BCD is there was mutual interest?
4. Is the Hobbyist within his right to out the hooker to her family if he knows her well enough and to whom he should send the information as a way to get her to see the light and stop her obessesion? The foregoing would be an action of last resort as all other ways have would have been tried and rejected by the woman in question... think in terms of a rolled up, wet newspaper across the nose like one would do to a dog that is being bad.
The questions above are articulated with the idea that I am not describing a streetwalker or some other type of non-escort but someone(s) who was(were) known in the hobby world, who were on different review sites and had a well-known presence. What is to be done about the bad behavior from those kinds of women since they were never held accountable for what they did? Those are the underlying themes to the questions above so keep that in mind prior to giving an answer, if you so choose to answer this.
~~~~~~~~~
Now to the questions preceding my post, I think if a lady has been in an abusive situation or was outed then changing the name is a good thing. Problem is, let’s be real here, not all providers have the intellect to really do the job right since to change your writing style, to change how you express yourself to others, i.e. changing your personality, requires thought, effort and intelligence since it requires a good memory, emotional self-control along with a high emotional IQ in addition to knowing yourself and your flaws.
I have no issue with provider’s making changes to fit life’s situations but I do have a problem with bad hookers changing their names to avoid the repercussions of their past actions and there are/were some providers on this, and other sites, that did exactly that.
I think sometimes ladies change their names to get away from drama associated with their aliases more often than because of a stalker. If you have a real stalker, changing your fake name is the least of your concerns. Just my opinion.
When I see a lady who is constantly having to reinvent herself, I just wonder what it is about her that makes her such a drama magnet. If you dig deep enough, you often find some interesting reasons for all those name changes.
Excellent topic, Wayward! Lots of potential for WIN in this one, let's see if we can keep it on topic.
I think that ladies who are running from their bad business practices ( blackmail, outing, whatever...) that change their names, should be considered alert-worthy and put on some sort of list of shame and then have that list stickied to the top of every forum forever and ever. You?
For a lot of ladies, Providing is their only income. So what do you ask of them? Stop providing because of their client stalker? Stop providing because of their lunatic ex boyfriend? Though I have other streams of income, I know for a fact that If I were to stop providing I'd lose thousands of dollars each month easily.
My name/persona change was not due to having a bad repuation/bad reviews but due to a client showing up at a family Christmas party and then demanding that I have free sex with him or he'll out me. I have no problem sharing this either.
Constant reinventing IS a sign of drama...I agree.
So what if she really needed help? What if she REALLY did have a crazy boyfriend that tried to out her and threatened to take her kids away? What if she did have a client that had direct connection to her family (like I did)? What if she risked losing her restaurant that she worked so hard for? (a provider that got busted here last week did), What if she risked losing her family? This is a shady business yes. When a provider is running from a bad reputation that is one thing but when a respected, reputable provider changes her name and lets people know about it I see nothing wrong with that. The wall of shame for flaky providers? Well wouldn't that be a shitstorm
Again there is a big difference between one changing your name and having multiple personas.
Anyways good night everyone!
See how simple that was lol. The answer is MONEY! If we know we can get certain guys on the West Coast to pay 3k a date, that's what we are going to do. On the same token we know that not MANY guys are going to be willing to pay that, so we create a girl at say $400 to make up for the business. If the guys paying 3k find out they can get it for 4 do you honestly think they would ever pay that rate again? That would be a NO, hence the reason for another persona. It's called Marketing and it WORKS! FTR all of my personas have stellar reviews on every board ha ha.
I learned this from a very good friend who has made more money in this biz than I could ever dream of making. Like me, I am sure she really did not give a flip what anyone else thought of her business practices when she was on the way to the bank everyday. London Rayne has the biggest mouth of all....my HDH persona has never posted a single word on ANY board.
Could be why I get 1500 a pop for that one lol. If every persona you have has nothing but stellar reviews, you are going to have a really hard time trying to convince someone she is a threat.
